All “must signs” are dependent on price unless they’re a top 3 QB. Even then, some of the teams paying top 3 QB Cap Hits will struggle to surround them with enough talent unless they hit on cheap, rookie contracts. 
 

The Mahomes deal is a beauty and should be every teams’ goal for salary discussions with franchise QBs.

As of right now on paper it is. The FA WR market is pretty much trash. It's going to be interesting to watch.

Go with the Jimmy Johnson Cowboys plan and get our version of the triplets this draft and let the grow together.  Quads would even be better as we need the TE too.  Snag at least one veteran FA to be the leader/voice in the WR room.

On an off note, I'd be mildly shocked if we don't at least talk to Parris Campbell considering his knowledge of Reich's offense, as well as his decidedly untapped potential. Moreover, I won't lie, I'm hoping that we can sign the other D.J. that people have forgotten about (the one that's been somewhat banged up during the start of his career, but honestly probably has near the upside of Moore and is actually faster).

The league is not interested in giving him the guaranteed deal like Watson received.  Lamar needs to get reasonable

Teams don't want to negotiate a deal for the Ravens. I doubt anyone is willing to give Lamar a contract that they don't think the Ravens would happily match.

They don't want to do the Ravens dirty work for them. They should have did an exclusive tag and tried to trade him. THEN they would have had suitors.

I don't buy the collusion thing. If teams still thought Lamar was a MVP caliber QB who could be relied on to stay healthy, someone would break ranks and go get him.
