TY Hilton would make sense on a veteran minimum.  He may not be the player he once was, but he's intimately familiar with Reich's offense and could be a great 'coach on the field' type of player.  Even our current WR coach has to get acclimated to this scheme.

I’d love this. Current group, 2nd round rookie, TY

Absolutely.  A veteran with knowledge of the system would help the other WRs play faster sooner--and he still has a few plays left in the tank.

Looks like Rams are a seller. I saw a suggestion by our old friend Jordan R for Panthers to ask about the Van Jefferson + Allen Robinson combo. I don’t know much about Jefferson, outside of his dad being our new WR coach. On paper I like the idea.

That should be a option, getting the vast portion of the robinsons contract is key(rams to pay). Hes got starting exp. My one issue about trading for a offense player form a offense guru, giant flag.

I dont want any more trades for players right now. We need our draft pics and only want to use our pics to move up or down for other pics. If we need guys use free agency, but don't hamstring the future. If we need to take a couple of years to rebuild, do it but stop mortgaging the future

If Bozeman plays hardball i could see the Panthers pivot to this...

I'd need some more information on why this would happen before having any interest in him.

The Colts are drafting a QB in the 1st, doing that and then getting rid of a Pro Bowl Center doesn't really make a lot of sense, feel like there must be something more to this for them to even be considering it.

I agree and the Panthers have been clearing space for free agency which looks promising

Boy I was wrong on this one.  I thought for sure it would be over by mid week.

Props to you!  I have no issue with strong opinions on here, but I have a lot of respect for the few that'll come back and acknowledge that they were wrong on something.

that can't be right...highest paid center right now is Ragnow at 13.5 according to spotrac.

To be clear this is where it started, I couldn’t tell you where it is at now. I have a hard time believing that Carolina can go higher than their initial number of around 8 million/yr but who knows?

I personally believed they would try to get a team friendly first year and then pay out the remaining years higher, and they still may but I haven’t heard that. It really boils down to how much the Bozemans’ want to remain in Charlotte.

Sounds like they set the market about right

    • Kon is a damn stud but it’s not any individual player’s team. All of the “big 3” are incredibly and equally important IMO. And LaMelo makes Kon way better (look at his shooting splits with LaMelo on the floor vs without. Also Moose and even Miles are important cogs. Honestly think we’re 1 piece away from being legit top contenders if the young guys continue to develop the next year or two. I trust this FO to be patient to find that piece within the next 2-3 years and not force anything. Plenty of time and even without adding anyone we have the pieces in place overall already to compete with any team.
    • We lost 2 very close and winnable games against top teams in the league while missing 3 critical players despite 2 of our top 3 players shooting unusually terribly. Still split the 4 games that Moose and Miles were suspended, winning the most important one vs the Hawks. This ain’t yo mama’s Hornets man. Hopefully Coby can go soon but even if not Moose and Miles are huge additions for our starting lineup and bench rotations. Schedule is pretty tough after these next 4 but I think we’ll take care of business the next 4 to get to .500 then finish slightly above .500 after that to get a 7 or 8 seed. Keep it rolling boys. Also Kon is having an insanely historic rookie season as a shooter. Like truly can’t believe my eyes watching this kid level of historic. Man what a fuging home run of a draft pick and exactly what this team needed to take that next step forward. He’s gonna shatter the rookie 3 point and franchise 3 point records. Has a real chance to be the 2nd best 3 point shooter ever or dare I say even get to Curry’s level (as a pure shooter, Curry obviously has way more to his game that has made him a GOAT).
    • I hear you but yeah like you say, above average. His numbers were good. You’d think it would be a no brainer. Anyhow… I guess the new staff is also fine with him walking?    I hope if we sign him there isn’t some secret issue of his that led to him not being valued.
