He's quoting an Eisen video

If you do research, this is coming exactly from Rich Eisen off his show. He posted the video on his twitter account.

Y'all the video is about rumors he heard at the combine, and he said he doesn't know if they're accurate or not.

‘Fortune favors the bold’  Terence

or

‘Fortune favors the brave’. Virgil

or as I feel about the Panthers in my years of following them ‘keep doing what you’ve always done and you will get what you’ve always got.

if this supposed ‘ all star ‘ coaching staff has the conviction that one of these players will excel, for 10 years, then just do it.   There are many ways to recover from the loss of those 1s.

Name a few ways please, that don’t involve luck.

If you watch the video, Eisen says up front it was all just rumors he heard and he doesn't know how valid any of it is. He's just throwing it out there for something to talk about.

To be fair... the fan is pulling this directly from the  Rich Eisen show today. Rich Eisen is the one reporting it.

See above

Hell, one of his rumors revolves around Mark Davis not really being bald.

I don’t believe for a moment this coaching staff can’t come to a conclusion about who they like the most. As a franchise we have settled too many times and it never works out. It’s time to be bold and go get our guy.

Maybe their guy isnt there. The history of the franchise has zero to do with evaluating this crop of QBs.Thats superstition over logical analysis. I am holding to the hope they conclude this isnt the right well to boldly throw future coins into.

I think since we are the name being mentioned the most, it probably won't be us. I have a feeling we will get to 3 and sit there.

I could see us jumping to three and taking one of the big 4.  Three also saves us from spending that 25 first (At least I hope it does).  If we can land 3 and keep our 25 first and pick 39 this year, I will be pretty happy.  If that pick is AR or Stroud, I'll be even more happy.

Doesn't seem too likely.

I know fans love the idea of being bold and trading up to #1, but being smart is more important than being bold.

In general fans discount the value of letting teams in front of you make mistakes.

Plus, when's the last time a team traded up to the top 5 and got a generational QB?  I believe the answer is never

QBs taken number 1 overall as a draft trade haven't been bad though, Jeff George, Michael Vick, Jared Goff. I would take a Heff George or Mike Vick Caliber player.

    • Two things: 1. Dr. Eric Eager is central to the draft process 2. I know that it was edited, but we didn't hear "Thieneman" one time, not even before the Vikings pick.
    • Why would he sign here as a guard when surely someone would sign him as a tackle?  Assuming he is healthy
    • Went back to watching the highlights. With a sober mind haha. Here is what I saw.    freddie needs to make 1 of those but the rest aren’t on him.    Slavin was BBBBAAAD again last night. Not sure what is going on with these game one Slavin gafs.    miller was ok but had his worst game in the playoffs so far.    nikishin was no good. His his awful turnover led to the first goal at the end of the first period that just can’t happen. ghost was beat like a drum multiple times last night, including the go-ahead goal at the end jarivs wont shoot. He is either hurt or he is struggling mentally and I think it could be a combination of both. He passed up a wide open net on the power-play only to pass it to no one and cleared it himself.     Svech played well. He is getting zero help on that line.    aho. Worst game as a pro. I mean that. He won’t shoot it, passes go to no one and turns it over repeatedly.  He did exactly what they did against Montreal game one when Miller had a turnover. Aho left his man to go help and left the golden Knight player wide open in front of Freddie.  If I was Rod, you Tell Aho when that thing hits your stick you fire it  someone needs to sit him down just him in a room and ask what’s going on. He seems soft, timid and has zero fire.   canes could have won that game   There isn’t a gap between these two teams  they are dead even   Carter Hart’s gonna get lit up in this series. We can beat that guy. the consensus last night was our defense played horrible and our stars won’t score.  clean the defense up. Tell the top line to shoot it everything and we’ll win tomorrow night.   Possibly convincingly.
