Of course, and getting it done before FA so you could sign his replacement(Parrish) was well orchestrated on the FO.IMO

Yeah, that would be one of our motivations to get the deal done early. But I'm not convinced it was with a specific WR replacement in mind.

Looks like we are waiting on Bozeman and Foreman and, after signing these two today, I am not sure how much more we can do, saving $10m for draft picks.  Lotta unknowns right now.

However, it looks as if we can enter the draft needing QB, WR, TE, and depth.

Yep look for 1 QB, 1 TE, and 2 WRs to be drafted.

Honestly the only thing I'm worried about is lack of offensive weapons. I don't like the idea of banking on 2nd round+ rookies or a TMJ breakout season.

I'm afraid that if they are going to want something better at wr they will have to make trade for one. The draft is light at wr this year and FA is pretty bad.

Slayton or Campbell are kind of the only half decent option (Lazard is likely following AR to NYJ)

Best case is something like trading for Courtland Sutton, landing Slayton, drafting Downs/Hyatt, and a later dude like Tyler Scott/Reed/Wilson/etc.  Match that up with TMJ, Shenault, & Shi, one or two is bound to click.

Maybe a guy like Haynes is the right trade piece to consider for landing a proven commodity?

Man figuring out how to clean up the void DJ left is above my pay grade. We were already looking for someone to compliment him and now we don't have him. The draft is a crap shoot and FA is filled with no. 2 and 3 WR's.  Fitterer is going to earn his money fixing this mess.

We have over $120M in cap next year.  Possibilities are endless.

Hell no!

Cmon Jimmy I expected beter from you. This guy will be overpaid he's probably the best WR on the market but he's a low end #2 WR at best. No need to spend big money on that kind of WR.

What about trading for Sutton or Jeudy from the Broncos?

I'm looking him up and he put up very similar numbers to DJ Moore while playing 3 less games.  He is only one year older than DJ also.  Offer him a contract similar to Moore's and see what happens.  Draft another WR/TE at 39 and we suddenly have at least respectable weapons for our rookie.

    • Dude, I think I might be having Jarvy withdrawals... I ripped the sleeves off of all of my t-shirts in my sleep last night. Every bite of my Alpha-Bita cereal spelled Seth, this morning. And, I took 7 naps before lunch. I'm losing it guys! Jarvy's Jaunty Band of Jaggoffs are getting more play than he is... smh Team Canada doesn't treasure Jarvis the way he deserves. He should take his band down to Liechtenstein, get a bag of passports, and start his own Olympic team! The raw animal magnetism of Jarvilicious will bring in a handful of NHLers on its own. And, since the IOC believes in collective punishment, he could have his pick of the rookies. Then, just fill out the rest of the roster with the maple blooded great white northerners who couldn't make the top squad. Can't trust this assembled awesomery to just any old Liechtensteinien with a clipboard and a whistle. Gotta bring in a legend worthy of this gold medal gambit. A hockey HOFer with the balls to buck the system and the aura to match our maverick. Huere geil, Vaduz!!! 2030 Gold Medal guaranteed!
    • Tennessee isn't trading a QB on a 2nd round contract that has starting experience.  That's bad business.
    • OT is the top priority as it is both an immediate and future need.  I wouldn't be past trading up slightly to get the guy we want.  You need that rookie contract right now.  Icky is a dead 17.5 million for the season.  Morton is 20+ mil for the season, Hunt is 20+ mil for the season.  There needs to be forward thinking regarding the future.   Caleb Lomu is a left Tackle, he's a solid prospect, he may be the best pick for us now and in the future.  I would seriously consider cutting Hunt after 2026, and let Lomu and Icky fight for the LT job, loser moves inside.  Icky's future may be at guard after this injury anyway.  If Damien Lewis keeps up his level of play he will need to be paid sooner rather than later.  Yosh and BC can be our top two depth OL at an affordable price.  You will need to look at OT again in 2027. Getting an EDGE for the sake of getting an EDGE outside of the top 10 is pretty risky.  I wouldn't be against eyeing someone like Cashius Howell, Derrick Moore, or TJ Parker in the 2nd (even if we trade a future pick to move up) or DDS in the third. I'd love to see us try to sign both Leo Chenal and Matt Millano in FA.   Chenal for the blitzing element we are missing from our LB corps and Millano for his elite coverage.  They could both work in tandem.  Remember, our FO has deep ties to both KC and Buffalo. I love thinking about the draft, but until Free Agency hits, we are clueless.  Looking at the strength of FA and the draft, OL is priority #1, LB #2, and EDGE #3.  We know what happens to Bryce when protection falls apart.
