Waaaaay under his projected total too. This a pure win. Rejoice.

Keep in mind that the league probably doesn't view him as valuable as we(the fans) do. He was signed to an insanely low deal last season.

I think this deal is about right. Good for us, good for him.

Fitterer played this negotiation perfectly.

Fitter is doing some serious negotiation. Now he he needs to find a WR that can be close to a D.J. Moore replacement because there may not be one that highly rated when the Panthers draft in the 2nd rd.

the Tepper’s deserve a shout out here (Mrs. fitty too) Check out this little video interview with the Bozeman’s.

Really glad to have them in Charlotte over the next few years! Having stability at center is massive for a rookie QB. Great contract on top of it!!

Check out walterfootball grade.  LOL.  Dude has good content on his site but this one is way off:

panthersb_logo.gif Panthers re-sign C Bradley Bozeman (3 years, $18 million): C- Grade
I don't understand this move. Bradley Bozeman struggled last year, performing like a below-average starting center. I considered center to be a need for the Panthers, but they apparently disagreed, re-signing him Bozeman to a 3-year deal worth $18 million.

I suppose one could make the argument that Bozeman is coming off a down year because he missed time with an ankle sprain to start the season. This is why I won't fail the Panthers for this. Besides, this isn't an egregious sum of money.

Dude is a f--king clown.

I applaud this deal.

    • Yup. Hopefully  Brandon adds some muscle this off-season but he'll probably be resting his shoulder for a while so I doubt it. Miles should probably be replaced but I don't think we find a better 4th option to be honest. So is it better to add depth along side williams and Coby or try to upgrade the 4/5 . I think adding depth will probably be more beneficial than trying to upgrade starters and bank on Brandon and Kons continuing development. I really don't think they are going to make the playoffs unfortunately. I think the big hole they put themselves in has exhausted them. They've been amazing since January 1 but I think it's come at a cost and their legs are gone.
    • The issue is the predictability of it all in a Bryce Young led offense. In 4th down attempts the Jets were at 41 and we were at 40. And we were 4th in conversation %. We were 25th in the league in 3rd down conversion because we faced so many 3rd and longs in part due to playcalling on 1st and 2nd down but more largely due to the limitations that cannot be overcome.  And people want us to spend another 1st rounder on WR as if it is going to magically give Bryce physical talent he will never possess. It's a shame we cut off our own nose just to put ourselves in this frustrating predicament.
