I actually think that we are stacking cap because we may be considering drafting two players in the 1st this year. I have zero evidence to support this, but it has crossed my mind.

Maybe move up for a WR or Edge?

It's also possible we may be waiting until during the draft to acquire a player for a pick. We saw a couple WRs move last season, so we may be hoping to do something like that and spend a little less in draft capital depending on who falls to our pick.

I suppose it's a possibility if they swapped picks with Houston. 1st pick for Houston's 2nd and 33rd picks. You could then use picks 33 and 39 to move up if they found a trade partner towards the end of the first round. I don't see it as a likely scenario though.

Paper thin at cb. I wouldn't expect Jackson to come back good as new.

The wr position is in need of help. Not a whole bunch to look at in the draft that might be able to contribute much immediately.

I think lb is a need, but not priority.

Depth on the oline/dline is always money well spent too.

Fitterer said (when asked about Chinn) that Chinn would be used in the big nickel.  Then he added that when in the nickel, they would move Horn to nickel.  Maybe I am naive, but I do not like that at all.  Taking Horn away from the outside WR and replacing him with the #3 CB (Henderson and or Taylor) is not cool.  Draft or sign a nickel cb

Coaches and GMs always talk about who is currently on the roster.  That may very well be the plan, but with the current roster, he has to say this until we actually draft or sign someone.
