Young is inaccurate when he can’t get his whole body into deep throws. That, along with being the tiniest NFL QB in the modern era is very concerning.

How about actually drafting the most accurate passer in the last several years?!

Plus, one of the knocks on Bryce Young is that his arm strength is modest by NFL standards and that he would be in the bottom half of starters in that area.

Youngs physical strength is questioned as well, making Pro Scouts say he would have to strain to make throws in tough conditions.

Any QB can be a bust. That's already understood. It's just that some are less likely tjan others, and some are more suited for the modern NFL style of play than others.

Agreed. The top 2 QBs could both work in the NFL and should have a higher chance of success. No one is going to be surprised if either one is picked first. Both Stroud and Young dominated the college level of the sport, but it’s a lot more difficult at the next level.

I mean this is weird guess work from you, but you're also missing out one of the most important voices in the building - Dan Morgan.

U r right, forgot abt Dan.
I have no idea Whr he leans like Caldwell. Neither have spoken to the media or did a press conference or video unlike the others I have guessed on.
So why is my guessing weird?

the way I see it: Young has a higher ceiling, Stroud has a higher floor.

Young could be a spectacular QB, or he could suck ass and we could go 3-14.

Stroud could be a great QB, or he could be an average good QB and we could go 8-9 or 7-10.

tbh to me there's not much difference between 3-14 and 8-9. in fact i'd kinda rather be 3-14 so we can suck and make changes, rather than drift in the middle for another 6 years, not bad enough to fire people but not good enough to win anything.

At least 3-14 gives u hope to draft ur next spectacular QB.

7-10 to 10-7 back n forth is purgatory. It gets u stuck with a QB u payed top dollars but feel like u have to get rid off…Goff, tannehill, cousins, dak, garapollo.

exactly where the Giants r going to find themselves.

take a chance on spectacular!

3-14 gives houston more ammunition to add weapons to their superstar QB Stroud that we passed on.

    • there is one common denominator in the 2003 & 2015 Carolina Panthers teams they both had ELITE top tier Qb play.  it would require a MVP type of season from Bryce Young to have the same type of success that Jake Delhomme had in  2003 & or Cam Newton in 2015 & lead this team to a SuperBowl is this going to happen or is there any reason to believe Bryce Young is capable of playing similar to Jake Delhomme in 2003 or Cam Newton in 2015 ? well no there is no absolutely NO reason whatsoever to believe that this is going to happen in 2026 ..just saying
    • I'd actually like to see Cherelus get a fair shot to win the job in camp. Wallace is decent in drop zone coverage, but he gets abused in the play action game and is often times out of position in the run game. It might just be me, but I swear every time I watch Wallace play, I see multiple plays a game were it looks like he's just trying to be blocked. Watching Cherelus last year he at least looked like he was trying to hit someone on every play. Wallace plays like a LB who doesn't trust what he sees and it makes him passive and cautious versus Cherelus who regardless of if his decision is right or wrong goes at it 100%.
    • Agreed.  Hasn’t happened to me either, but I feel very strongly about it.  That’s not just one of the worst things a woman could do to a man, it’s a power inherent to only women and is one of the worst things a HUMAN being can do to another.  A man can’t “hide” a pregnancy or maternity.  It’s impossible.  And that sucks for anyone that has to go through that. I always got a weird vibe off her and just found her very unlikeable.  Annoying even.  I’ve always been good at reading people and there was just something about her to me that was off-putting, somewhere under the surface.  And here we are…  she is despicable.
