It’s a tough spot. With Cam the other QB options weren’t anywhere close. It was basically a choice between him or other blue chip talent at other positions.

I think drafting Young would be a big mistake, but I would support him cause he's a Panther.

Don't get me wrong, I like Young and would be happy if we went with him.

We need to pick the best QB, not the best football mind. I'm sure the coaching staff and McNown would love to have Bryce around, but if he can't hold up or make all the throws, then they need to go with Stroud. I'm sure Tony Romo was lovely to be around as a football genius, but he didn't hold up or become a superstar QB.

I'm not worried about Young's height at all, but Young loves to hold the ball for super long amount of time and that will get him some big hits early in his career. Stroud is like Brees or Brady, that bitch better be out before the DE comes around

So who are these several in the organization that favor Bryce Young. I still think it is an unknown till draft day pick #1.

I think there are several who prefer Young, and several who prefer CJ. We have a GM who isn't exactly a dominant minded authoritarian, coaches, coordinators, scouts, Tepper, and his wife who has her fingers in many pots, they're not all going to agree. Some want CJ, some want Young. How they are going to decide is anyone's guess. Fitt might just obey whatever Reich says. Who knows at this point?

There are very few people who will actually be involved in making this final decision.

A handful of coaches and executives, and I don't think any of them are dumb enough to go around telling people who we like more than others.

Anything you read between now and draft night has been put out by the team for one reason or another, or is pure speculation based on murmurs lower level people have heard in passing conversations, or flat out lies made up by the reporter for clicks.

Even if this is true, it would be pure luck by King to report it, particularly as it's not really much of a statement, I'm sure there are people in both the Panthers and Texans organizations that like each of the top 2 QB's better than the other.
