He was 205 at the combine…but people keep saying he’s 185 to push their agenda

thats a really questionable 205, he wouldnt even let them weight him again at his pro day but the point stands that he is at least around 200. He just needs to get bigger and who here is the same size they were at 21? He will be fine.

Because 185 is what he actually played at, not 205 which is just what he artificially got up to temporarily and didn’t even perform simple drills at. Might he be able to crest 200 and actually play at it in the NFL with NFL resources at his disposal?  Maybe.

My dick isn’t small enough to stress about what another man weighs. I’ve seen him play football against top 10 draft picks.

This.

I don't care how small Bryce Young is, the man dominated at the highest level of competition possible in college football against other players that will be - or have already been - drafted highly.

Stop nitpicking and look beyond the size at the insane talent level this guy has.

Or... They like both and know the Texans really want Young and they're trying to nudge them into a trade swap, get a couple of more picks and then take CJ. Think about it. If the Texans want Young and they feel we'll take him and not fall to them, then they just might jump. Who's got the best poker face?

Again, if its a concern for reich then it should be a concern for you

You can say you don't care and size doesn't matter but the 17 game season disagrees with you. Wasn't every QB on our roster banged up in one way or another at some point last season?

Newsflash. You dickriding this man isn't going to stop defenders from ruining his life. I imagine defensive coordinators in particular will be eager to put this all to the test. If they targeted Cam you think they'll be afraid to go after the smallest starting QB in the league?

    • In May of 2026, it looks like a challenging schedule...and it probably is.  I rarely listen to the "strength of schedule" conversations that light up social media this time of year. Each year teams improve and decline. I think there's chunks of the year we need to take care of business and the week 5 bye is not desired.  I do think if we don't hit the bye week at 3-1, it's going to be a major uphill battle given the schedule in front of us. This season falls on three people, regardless of schedule strength: Canales, Bryce, Evero.  Canales: Finally can truly coach all aspects of the team and not focus with gameday prep for OC duties anymore. He drives the bus and needs to get these guys in position to win each week. There's no way vets come in and put it on the line every week to watch our QB sh!t the bed (See: SF game last year). Bryce: Despite everyone's obsession with thinking Bryce is a guaranteed extension, I think this year will truly be his "prove it" year. If he comes out the way he has the past three years, I really don't see how vets and coaches can continue to put him under center long-term. He might play out that fifth year as the starter, but I think next offseason his long-term replacement is found. I also think there's no excuses with the weapons and commitment we've made on offense to insulate him with every possible weapon.  Evero: Best personnel he's had since he's been here...no excuses. Figure out how to blitz effectively. Figure out how to use CBs whose strengths are press/man. Figure out how to utilize a talented front-7 to get the hell of the field. Outside of FS and maybe....maybe ILB, there are few weaknesses on this unit.
    • Canales can never get his teams ready in the first week of the season so far. Hope that changes or Ben Johnson is going to take his azz to school.
