Not sure if this has been posted. Interesting comments from Sheena Quick regarding the decision about QB and she seems to indicate that the Panthers would consider a trade down if pick #12 is involved. Starting about 11:37

Good post just heard it and Sheena says her connection is a big decision maker in that room.. I find that interesting..

Comparing both guys potential flaws...Strouds flaws are correctable in my eyes.  IF young has flaws in the NFL, You CANT fix them. That goes a long way to me.

Yes that is the upside and future potential view I’m looking at as well.

Just thinking as well.... if the Panthers have already made a decision and are trying to leak it threw the media why in the hell would they be okay with Adam BS schefter going on national media and stating that it would be a waste of time for Stroud to do a private visit? It doesn't sound logical or professional from this staff.

Yeah nothings a "done deal" yet. It's weird...it's like these guys have some agenda with trying to predict who the Panthers will pick. Maybe even trying to influence the decision.

Are they betting on the outcome or something.

Look, it's clear to me Stroud is the right choice. But if it's true that the Panthers are selecting Young, I hope and pray I'm wrong about Young and he's as special as everyone seems to think.

Takes some effort to get banned around here. Good to know

Unless you've been banned here before and you're an alt, then it's a really short leash.....next to the edge of a cliff, and I've got a ball to throw and scissors to cut the leash with.

Interesting around 12:00 they bring up that maybe he was asked to play from the pocket so much by his coaches. I know in an interview he mentioned Vick was his favorite player as a kid and initially all he wanted to do was scramble until his dad and/or early coaches got him to stay in the pocket and throw

    • With the contract money an OT first rounder makes you can ALWAYS get a new girlfriend.  And probably an upgrade at that.  You only got 2 parents.
    • Brother. You are wholly confusing comparing situations and applying actual standards like most other franchises do like simply getting into a playoff series and winning at least 1 or 2 series games with praising. Nobody is praising the Hawks. Nobody is praising the Magic. Nobody here likes those teams. But reality is reality. The Hawks like other franchises have traded players fired coaches etc but they can still win a couple playoff games. How is that not the bare floor for you or anyone else? What are we doing here if it isn't? We've seen eye to eye on many things over the years. But you are in the camp on the Hornets where you are emotionally attached to LaMelo where you feel the need to carry his water like he's got that juice. That's cool that you feel that way. It's your prerogative. But I differ from that viewpoint entirely. If he had that juice we would not have gotten wiped off the court in 2 play in games with 2 different coaching staffs and rosters. if people don't like hearing that well I'm sorry but how the hell is this team ever going to get better and ultimately go anywhere in the postseason if we just blindly pat them on the back for getting their asses whooped before they actually even get into the real playoffs? There seem to be some Bryce Young level standards being applied here. That's wild to me. But to each his own.
    • Proctor/Freeling were always the belles of the ball where we were picking. What those two *could* become at OT was far greater than what others could be at their respective positions and I’m glad our FO could see that.
