Carolina is “rumored” to Bryce.  Bryce was the top prospect at QB in the draft all along,  and was always the favorite to go number 1 until the trade.  They may have been torn on a couple guys but after going around to the pro days and meeting with people.  Players start to separate which it seems and sounds Bryce has.   This isn’t just some bleacher report rumors.  We now have multiple local beat reporters hearing the exact same thing.

5. Texans were  never going to take a QB just to take one.  And there’s been rumors even back before the trade that Stroud wasn’t even the number 2 QB on their board.  They also have multiple 1st next year.

No real argument with any of that.

People are definitely lying their asses off this time of year, but that doesn't mean everything they're saying is a lie.

The two 2024 1st rounders is a good point. They might like Young this year, but they have the flexibility to be able trade up and pick the best QB next year if they want to.

Don’t bother trying to save the sanity of some of these fools, ready to gobble up every rumor and piece of intentional misdirection thrown out there by anyone with a platform. No one knows anything more than they knew two months ago. This same thing happens throughout the year, not just draft season. Lotta people are helplessly gullible.

Sorry you can't accept that, but it's been clear since last year Bryce Young was the best QB prospect in his draft class. You can continue to spread false hope but the top insider already made it clear who the pick will be.

I’ve come around to Bryce. I really can convince myself to like both Bryce and Stroud lol. 
 

The exhausted view that “if Bryce was 6’3” he’s generational…” which I get…

 

Well you gotta take the guy and hope he doesn’t get crushed. Take a chance. 
 

 

 

…but if the Texans YOLO’d #2 and #12 to swap picks…that makes things complicated.

It's all smokescreen at this point if the deciding minds still haven't decided then how could an insider decide for them...
