Honestly I think 5 realistic ones are:

1. Truist Financial (SunTrust/BB&t I think)

2. Nucor

3. Wells Fargo

4. BMW

5. Honeywell

BMW would just be weird seeing as the Falcons play in Mercedes, which used to sponsor the Superdome as well.

Most likely to be a Carolina-based business, if I had to guess.

Mercedes shifted their naming rights to Atlanta from NO when they put their N.A. HQ down the street. I could see BMW picking this up because of their SC presence along with some competition.  Could also see Hyundai looking at a large marketing opportunity (Kia and Hyundai do a lot of sports marketing, and sponsorship rights don’t come up often)

Pepsi would be interesting, but am unsure if that would conflict with any NFL contractual obligations with Coca-Cola. Big picture is I’d doubt it would be a consumer retail/store product company. That would be “no” to Bojangles too.

Lowes would be interesting too, but they might be more interested in sponsoring a side project, like the Home Depot Backyard area at MB Stadium.

Insurance company, maybe. Geico?

Truist might make a play for it too.  Keep it in the Banking area.  Doubtful Amazon, Apple, Meta, or Google would spend money here as they’re not really looking to build awareness.

oooh, why not go back old school to memories of Ericsson?  T-Mobile likes arenas, why not do a stadium? Have to figure out how the magenta would work with Panther Blue though.

tepper is such a coke guy he immediately changed beverage suppliers from pepsi to coke. IMO his most redeeming quality.

Maybe stupid, but I’m actually considering companies that have enough money for naming rights and not just what sounds cool.

What you are suggesting is sailing far above these guys heads somehow.

I suppose they think sponsors are chosen based on their name? No idea

    • Completely agreed.  TBH, we have had so many great players that are in my favorite list, and I hate to narrow it down to one, but Cam is it.  Which is crazy, because you would think it would be more of the guys I grew up watching, but no.  Cam was the single most impactful player to ever out on a football uniform imo.  And like I said in an earlier post, I always felt a kinship with him in a lot of ways…  the way he was treated and judged for the off the field stuff in Florida and having to overcome all of that and fight show at back.  And although I am not a black man, I have always been welcomed by and accepted more by minorities, and thus, I know what it’s like to be judged by appearances rather than the content of your character and who you actually are.  I know what it’s like to be stereotyped and written off or mistreated for your mistakes.  I know what it’s like to be held to a different standard while your peers don’t have to meet that same standard.  So I always related to that.  And the way he came in and just electrified the whole franchise, man…  I still think about it often how much it sucks that because of how talented he was, our staff out so much on him and that ultimately cut his career short.  You’re right, there will never be another Cam…  I think Josh Allen is the closest thing we will see for a long time, but Allen is not the running threat Cam was.  Cam could run you over or around you.  That was THE absolute funnest time to watch our team ever.
    • It definitely needs more specificity than is baked in now.
    • The weirdest encounter I had with a pro athlete was waiting in line at security at Mile High Stadium when I used to get the company suite tickets almost every week because I was the only employee based in Colorado. There's a small checkpoint accessing the suites that virtually no one knows about that you can usually squirt right through. I was standing there and looked over my shoulder and there stands John fuging Elway waiting in line behind me.  This was during the The Golden Calf of Bristol season right before he became GM. I just said "They make YOU go through security?" He's like "Yeah, ain't that a bitch. I literally have a statue out front and I gotta go through security like everybody else." I've heard mixed things about him but he was super nice and down to earth with me that day.
