Never understand why the media is only talking about height. It was never a question about height, but about weight.

I would guess it’s because height is easier to hand waive, since there have been QBs his height to have success. It’s been that way since the draft season started. The weight is a more difficult discussion that was only briefly touched upon pre-draft and not at all by the mouths getting fed by the team.  It was my only real concern about drafting him, but he’s a Panther now so I’ll have faith that the regimen that Reich alluded to before the draft will work.

If I was @ZodI would ban all posts on Bryce Young’s height or weight. It’s been played out

I know this is getting old but based on this thumbnail, did anybody even attempt to give Bryce a booster to stand on?

I didn’t want to joke because of all the uptight people in here but I chuckled when he wasn’t in the picture. I’ll add in a picture someone sent me after I poked him about his Celtics.

Good jokes never get old. Bryce is always gonna be a small NFL QB. If he doesn't work out, the jokes will be cruel. If he does work out, the jokes will be good natured. It is what it is.

Exactly. Amazing the multiple feels you see even in this small thread. I want Young to do great but I’m not going to take offense to a joke that was sent to me after I made a joke about my friend’s team looking like poo. Young doesn’t know anyone in here and standing up against a joke isn’t going to make him better. As you said, it is what it is and he’ll end up good or bad based on his own play not jokes.

You do realize that for the most part, those jokes are never going to go away?

I think they will eventually.    I never noticed them with Kyler Murray and he's the same height 😉

    • I believe Lloyd will elevate not just the whole unit, but also whoever his running mate is. Wallace is still very young, I think he's only 23 with two years of exp now. Cherelus can handle starting, he's just fighting with staying healthy. Kuwatch I think is going to be a contender after a couple week of understanding the system.  I mean Lee will be against..... what nearly 10 NFL-level WRs, he's going to get work and its up to him if he can hang.  I think its fair to expect 12th +/- 3 or 4 spots.  You know this, it boils down to how healthy everyone stays.....cause if dbrown, horn, Lloyd, Michael Jackson, or tervon miss extended time.....no way 10th can be reached. IF all the names above remain haethly, I do think 10th should be the goal. They are a young unit and added talent to a 16th ranked unit. Its time to march forward!!
    • Varying degrees all around but it starts at the top. That is where the buck stops. It has been 8 years of stupid, long before Morgan came back. Or Tillis was hired. Made it to the top of stupid mountain in 2023. Stayed in stupid limbo for a while, now we are prepping to scale the next mountain. In this case, I like those guys’ roster building better than what we have had so I am okay with them as our current pawns in the game of Bryce.
    • Don't let me gas him up too much, but I hear this and that...... I seen a wide body man with a quick burst, that's able to shed blocks and if extends his long arms its over. He tore up the OL in the senior, you seen about 10 plays and the dog walking OLman. There's other plays of him doing the same, just have to deal with fetus talking over the plays. Plus there's this-  https://x.com/PFF_College/status/2018385471068332410?lang=en     I hope he's ready, cause Id like to see him starting and doing his thang with dbrown, nic, and Phillips.
