Canes vs Panthers ECF Game 4

Recommended Posts

Panthers will get swept by the Knights. I want to type some angry diatribe but really what is the point. 5 straight years of this crap and I am left wondering if next year is the year we inevitably stake a step back. New Jersey isn't getting any worse.

Boy this team sure sucked a fat one in the ECF......................again.

I don’t think so. Got swept by what, 4 goals collectively. Would a healthy Svech and patches move the needle in this series? I say maybe. The burden of blame falls on the front office. 10 million in cap space for Poolparry and Ghost is a gross reality in hindsight. Big changes needed in the off-season. See y’all in October.

Two games in a row the refs handed panthers a penalty on the Canes at the end of the game while ignoring panther dirty trash to go uncalled all game.

Im done with this trash, hope Vegas beats Florida and the refs cause that’s what they’ll have to do.

I mean Jordan's initial poke was fuging nothing. It trailed slightly and touched a skate and dude fuging fell, instantly draws a trip.

Meanwhile we get slashed at all fuging game, got dudes taking runs at people, got dudes fuging holding long after the puck is moved.

You either say "it's the playoffs and we let them play" or you call the poo straight. You don't fuging gift a team a soft penalty in a tie game in the final 2 minutes of play.

nah you can't blame anyone but God

no such thing as accountability in hockey, only thing that matters is the goalie on the opposite team

All year we knew we needed someone to help on the powerplay at least. Not doing anything, I knew our chances of winning it all had plummeted.

    • I think Bryce balls out again and the Panthers win in a close one.  Panthers will have a defender shadow CMC the whole game so I expect he'll be contained to under 100 yards.
    • yeah, Steve was basically like on any actual topic that approached his flaws/problems.....89 went with the long winded, try to sound like a wise man strategy of just basically just pleading the 5th (and sprinkling in the idea that others could of been wrong or wrong too).   also, in terms of the assaults and stuff like that....it feels like old 89, I feel has sort of forgotten his well-documented confessions and apologies about that aspect and era of his and was trying to re-write his story/image in hindsight.   And in all honesty, it seemed like a PR move on the twitter/cheating stuff also attempting to play himself as not the bad guy some think with the intentional vague suggestions. and the Pivot and all these athlete moves to basically take the reigns and power from traditional outlets exposes they have just as bad as flaws if not more often than the traditional media folks.  I mean I do like the free form long talk when dudes are telling stories but all this stuff is largely flawed and controlled PR often.
    • Sadly, I agree and I’m a huge Melo fan. Might be time to ship him out. Don’t want to make the same mistakes the Pels did. They should’ve gotten rid of Zion two years ago.
