Back on topic. There was a discussion on a podcast I heard yesterday. Someone said she thinks Bryce has gotten thicker below the waist lately. That should help in several ways. It would be good for him to add some upper body size at some point, but I realize that QBs are reluctant to do a ton that may impact their throwing motion.

I thought that too when I saw some recent video of Bryce. He won't get taller but getting stronger and thicker will help him absorb punishment better.

I feel there is a joke here somewhere...

Will be interesting to see what he looks like 5 years from now.

I dont think that he will bulk up significantly. He might get to 205 in the preseason but Im sure he will slim down to 190's in the season.

I dont ever see him being over 210lb - and I think thats ok (as it was talked to death) that weight is not a contributing factor to injuries.

He is what he is and thats ok.

I agree. CMC was injured more AFTER he bulked up.  Weight didn't help Cam or Corral.  I don't want him to do anything that might slow him down or reduce his slippery shiftiness.

The only thing that is starting to bug me about him, and this is nitpicking at its best, is that in his interviews it seems like he is trying really hard (but the way he stumbles on his words) to try to find the most perfect thing and way to say it. Seems like he has been coached how to conduct himself in interviews. Which is not a bad thing.

But coming from Cam, Cam just carried himself with so much swagger and said whatever came to mind (which got himself into trouble).

Yeah it kinda bugs me as well, but I guess it’s better than going all Zach Wilson

    • After watching Dan for 3 yrs now, I think I understand his plan. It’s a simple plan that should work for the long run.     I saw some of this last yr. Dan wants a vet and a young player at each position. I really think we go OT if one they like there. Moton is aging, Icky will not be back until 27, if ever. We need to get ahead of the tackle problem
    • You are just stressing too much about these particular positions. You want to upgrade from Bryce and I understand that but you aren’t going to really get that without getting into a bidding war for a QB2 potential QB1 like Willis. You could possibly trade for Mills or the backup for Chicago but they are still gambles and their teams will won’t decent picks.  Again the Eagles thought KP was a capable enough backup to trade for him once their backup was hurt and won a Super Bowl with him as QB2. The point is most teams aren’t rolling with some stud QB2/3 that is going to push even a bottom tier starter. They are better off the building their roster in other areas. The Rams are rolling with Bennett right now as QB2 for example.  The goal is winning absolutely. We overachieved last year even with stumbling into the playoffs. Another year and this staff needs to take the next step in building a team. Will Grier has little to no impact on that….
    • Three straight first round WRs is straight up Matt Millen poo. Considering the draft capital we have tied up on Bryce after that trade we would basically have spent damn near all of our draft capital in recent years on QB and WR just to put one of the most anemic passing offenses in the league on the field. Clown show poo.
