At this point in time, who feels like we lost this trade?

If you do not have a QB, you are a team contenders scrimmage against. Season ticket holders deserve more.

Consider that about half of the first rounders in the NFL never pan out, and second and third rounders don't usually become difference makers, if Bryce is good, we were great.  We have already made the WR room better, and we could not make the QB room better unless we did what we did.  This was a no brainer.  The Bears, like most teams, benefited from sucking many years in a row, so we shall see.  Time could reveal that they were stupid for holding onto Fields when Young becomes a pro bowler and they have the dilemma of giving a mediocre QB a $240m contract.

Absolutely no way of knowing. The trade is done. No point in trying to hash out the details of who "won" and "lost" the trade right now and we might not know for years to come. For quite awhile it looked like the Chargers won that Eli trade with the Giants. They got an arguably better QB and a haul of great assets with the picks they acquired. But when it was all said and done, two rings to none declared the Giants the hands down winner.

The trade is a win regardless of the outcome because we had to take a shot and this was as good as it gets.

No trade = Darnold and Corral.

Yeah even if Bryce doesn’t pan out as we hope (and I think he will) I won’t ever call this trade a loss. Worth taking a shot on such an incredible talent at the most important position, especially after years of missing on veteran retreads.

It's all going to come down to how Bryce does, if he's a multi all-pro type of player then it will have been worth it, if not, then we got terribly ripped off.  I still feel it was far too much to give up for a QB of Bryce's size with the risk that comes with that.

Also still feel like the better move would have been to move up to #3, keep DJ and one of the 2nd round picks and then taken whichever fell to 3 between Stroud and Richardson.

If Young is a franchise QB we won or it was worth it, either way you want to look at if. If Young busts it will take 3 years or more before we write him off, by that time the trade assets will be paid up. It’s a trade you make as a GM 10/10 times if you think there is a franchise QB in the draft.

Less be honest. I think DJ moore may have been hyped a bit to much since the trade. These national blowhards treat him like he's prime Randy Moss going to Chicago.  So far Bryce has looked the part and then some even though no contact. If he's a a top 6-7 qb the next few years the trade was awesome for Carolina.
