Not a bad deal, I looked at the other edge guys in past weeks, theres about 6 solid names in their 30s. 

This also tells me, thee staff is thinking they can win now otherwise gave the young guys the snaps.

Or Gross Matos isnt at the level the coaches want him to be at.

I like the move simply because despite being 34, he was productive last season. 9.5 sacks is a good number for where he is in his career.  Glad they didn’t just go with a name like Clowney for namesake and opted for a guy who’s been more productive here lately. Always good to have another vet in the room too.

It's nice to have a reliable vet so we can continue to bring the young guys along slowly. Also helps with depth. Can never have enough guys rotating along the dline to keep each other fresh

He's also kinda like Thielen where he probably wants this to double as a coaching apprenticeship
