You people unbothered by this poo show are in for a fantastic reality check.

Losing in the preseason is not very concerning. HOWEVER, getting blown the fug out and having NOBODY even resemble a good game is absolutely concerning. ZERO points in a preseason game. I don't think people understand how pathetic it is that you can't even walk into a FG from your whole roster.

Yep.  It’s the most pathetic accomplishment in all of football.  Against the weakest of competition and preperation you couldn’t ass backwards fall into a single point?  Really?  REALLLY???!!

I only come in after the game and haven't read the thread yet but that was pathetic. Anyone who says otherwise pooped on Matt Rhule sucks threads. Defense blew 20 assignments and couldn't stop the run. Offensive line is just that. We should get better odds for the Bowl tomorrow though, for us hopeless fugtards, Que some Ked Woodley! Raw raw rawwweww!

I’m not panicking and I think we have some talent, but not scoring a single point in a preseason game is a definite cause for concern. There needs to be a night and day difference next week, or we’re in for a long ass season…

I'm not concerned.  It's disappointing and a let down for sure, but the Pats typically always suck ass in the preseason and it has no bearing on their regular season performance.  If we believe in this staff like we claim we do, we view them as strategists, like Belichick and his staff, so I'm not stressing.  But this showing was damn near inexcusable.

    • And you know this how? Stay in your lane, junior. I'm pretty sure I'm a lot older than you, am a whole lot more experienced with life, and have watched football in earnest probably longer than you've been alive. I agree, but I was talking directly about injuries. As far as the economics, I'm assuming that Moton would have to take a pay cut and would probably be compelled to if he wants to stay in Charlotte. He seems like a thoughtful and practical guy. He knows that he's getting older and realizes the nature of the business. Hell, last time there were were questions on whether he would be here the last season. Dan and Brandt were dialing up the pressure. I don't think they're going to go into any type of contractual extension discussions without having a backup plan--i.e., a person that will appear to be Moton's replacement. And, to be honest, that person may be Moton's replacement depending how things go. But, I get the impression that Moton wants to be in Charlotte (unless he's developed some undying desire to chase a championship somewhere else).
    • It would be pretty fun with something like this. 3 on 3 the first 5 minutes, 2 on 2 the next 5 minutes (after a stoppage), then 1 on 1 (after a stoppage) the rest of the way. I just feel like this would be equal parts entertaining and chaos to watch
    • I'm more surprised our odds to win the division didn't really improve that much after free agency (like +380 -> + 320). I threw a few hundred on us to win the division again at +425 back in February, just because I figured Atlanta and Tampa would get worse. After our free agency, I am still surprised Tampa is the favorite to win the division.
