A loss to the Saints on MNF would be as bad a start as the Panthers can get.

The Saints have talent but they are not some scary juggernaut. Drew Brees is gone. Now is the time to step up and dick slap these divisional opponents. I'm tired of hearing this bs mantra from folks who wanted immediate results from Rhule now crowing about a rebuild. This conference is weak AF. The Bucs are 2-0 with Baker fuging Mayfield. Do not make excuses for more ineptitude from our front office. If we can't compete in this weaker edition of the current NFL hire someone who can do better.

Tepper is the problem. These HC's we hire are his decision.

 

Not sure why he thought is was a good idea to hire a HC who was fired. The excuses has to stop. We blaming everybody but Tepper.

I would like to give them a lower pick just because it means we had a good season.  I dont understand why people would care what pick we give them, we can't use it anyway.  If we have a bad season, I'd rather have a high second round pick

I have been blaming Tepper since he hired a wildly unqualified college coach who didn’t even beat a ranked team to a fully guaranteed $60m contact.

I really can't stand this narrative that people have built up in their heads to accept a poor season that gives the Bears a top pick in a QB heavy draft.  We were 7-9, in the playoff hunt in the final week of the season, improved the coaching staff and kept the same starters or got better at every position except #1 WR.

That's not a rebuild, it's just year 1 of a new staff/QB combo, but given what we had last year, it's still an improvement.

If this really was year 1 of a true rebuild, you don't trade away your next year's first round pick.  I'd have had no issues with a rebuild, but if that's what we were doing, we did it terribly.

      Not sure how much he was a long term piece of this team.   Sucks to not have him as part of the rotation.   Looks like it's Lee Hunter time.

      I am not sure he will put the over the games but we’ll probably have them.   Two things I am thinking.  We have 4 preseason games.  All the coaches have enough service time to know the standards that are in place for decades. If I recall it was play your starters just a series to start woth and build it up until week theee where play a lot and you have week four to set hour roster. Evaluate before cuts.   Bevell will certainly have the whole thing down pat.   I’d they don’t do the fries and frie air will worry too. Because it is set up to do that.     I have said since they went t three preseason people have to figure a new way are still feeling it out and trying things.  We don’t have to this year.
