Bryce Young sucks

Many of us tried to tell you all. Many had those homer rose colored glasses on. This kid shows absolutely nothing that would make you feel he may one day be good at this level.

He's not putting enough arch on the deep ball and it's like he's throwing it as hard as he can with low arch and it just rockets out to nowhere. Teddy did that push passing as well and it wasn't a good idea. Watch CJ Stroud throw the ball and see how high it goes and it looks effortless.

The prob is we pushed for QB this year instead of just being patient. Stroud and AR may end up being better but that's not saying much.

Can we make an auto filter for Bryce Young to say Chase Daniel from here on out?  And I think that's an insult to Chase Daniel.

Honestly, both will be 10+ year starters in the NFL.  And both have pro bowl+ potential.  AR just had to stay healthy.  Stroud will be fine.  And I maintain Hooker may end uo being the best from the class when healthy.  All infinitely better options than Bryce was and I said that from jumpstreet.   

So, that is saying much, because I think Bryce is barely even a backup- level pro QB.

I came out to BOA and bought some great seats and a BY jersey to support this kid. He ain’t it. He just ain’t. The coaching staff ain’t it either otherwise AD would have been in. Reich needs to resign. Why bring T Brown over here in the first place.

I could also just be a frustrated fan who doesn't really know what is really going on but here is my take.

Bryce could be a bust.  Bryce could be building up his knowledge and will break out in 2-3 games from now.  Play calling could be the problem.  Receivers not getting open could be the problem.  Too many cooks in the kitchen could be the problem.  

Personally, I think it's a little bit of everything but something that not a lot of people talk about is how much and i mean really how much of everything is completely new. 

New staff many of whom have not worked together before.

New scheme combining a bunch of different stuff.  

New offense.  Icky, Bozeman and Moton.  Those are the 3 starters playing for us right now that started for us last year.  That's it.  

This whole thing is going to take some time.  To figure out what works, for players to gel, for the team to gel.  Yes, we suck right now but there are a multitude of reasons outside of the coaches forgot how to coach, Young is a bust, Fitt is the worst GM and Tepper is the next coming of Jerry Jones.

 

And I love all the Told you so people coming out of the wood works.  If it was possible to tell who would be great and who would be a bust the NFL would look a lot different.

Not positive that's the case with Bryce, but I've seen that a lot. And it is a lack of natural arm strength. It can be improved, but may impact accuracy.

Play calling sucks,but put all the blame on a rookie QBs with  the  same  skillset receivers, they need to play the guy from Kansas City in  the slot to open things up, they need a receiver  like Zay Flowers, Jordan Addison  or Josh  Downs type

This is why the whole build of the team is just dumb. You go all in on the qb whose claim to fame is fast processing ability and you surround him with a bunch of fugs that can't get open quickly. Bryce may or may not end up being good but the roster of offensive weapons is complete shat

So what some people are saying in here is that CJ Stroud has better WRs, better Oline help, better play calling ... on the Texans ... giving him the fourth most yards in the NFL as a QB so far this season.

At this point, I probably have all of the athletic ability of an old toothpick. But I can at least say I know that a rookie quarterback isn't fully defined after only two games.

And hell, I liked a lot of what we saw in him late game. He looked way more comfortable running an up-tempo attack than he did in the first game.
