Everyone kept telling us his size didnt matter. It only took 2 games for him to end up
 on the injury report.

This is such a stupid take and falls flat when Anthony Richardson is also tracking to not play this week and was also hurt week 1 and missed a few snaps.

Bash his play all you want, that's fair game - but the size bro argument is just dumb.

The size concern is much less of a factor than his physical traits. Other prospects like Stroud have the arm talent to make downfield throws into tight windows. Young refused to throw at the combine and his deep throws at his pro day were not pretty. Yes our WR's are not doing well and the playcalling is poor. But expecting Bryce Young to make this a dynamic offense was a tall order. It was always going to be dink and dunk with a heavy run game.

I really do not understand where this comes from.  Bryce has show the ability in college and in the pros (when given the chance) to zip and fit tight window throws into the intermediate level (20-25 yards).  Just watch the QB school from last week on him.  He doesn't look like he has any less arm strength than anybody else.  Carr didn't seem to have a stronger arm than Bryce.  And on the 2 or 3 deep shots we've attempted in 2 weeks, Bryce has overthrown the guy all 3 times.  He routinely dropped deep ball dimes in college when he had a guy like Jameson Williams streaking down the field.

Maybe they had a WR revolt and want some deep targets.
Which Frank wont call with his baby in the game yet.

Because he doesn’t think the OL will protect him on longer developing routes? Okay I know that is a stretch but I am suspicious of the reasons we shorten/compress the field in the passing game.
Dalton, come one down.

He had jameson Williams 2 years ago, last year it wasn't the same. Last year he couldnt hit guys in stride, all his deep passes were flat or had no velocity,  receivers had to slow down or stop on routes to catch them....he even threw some flat out ducks.  I pointed this out during the draft process but of course most people are only gonna pay attention to the result.

Regardless if this is a smokescreen to protect BY or the real deal, an injury this early in an NFL qb's  career whose biggest knock predraft was that he may be too small ( ie injury prone) to play in the NFL, itdoesn't give me a lot of confidence in this team, be it the front office, coaching staff, or players going forward.
