Stroud is gonna be good. Could argue he already is.

I think Bryce will be too.

Stroud has better talent around him, including playcallin. But no one cares about that. Not saying they should either.

He doesn't. No matter how much yall keep saying it.

I guess  coaching and offense identity  has nothing to do with his progression at this point huh? When Bryce Young gets his feet under him, actual weapons and coaches that are not so damn conservative and let him do his thing, so all you so called fans and know  it alls will be eating those words, the guy has been successful in every aspect of football in his playing career in that same body.

I'm not terrified about anything when it comes to the Panthers anymore - they've crushed most of the passion I had for the team with 7 years of ineptitude.

That said, the only shining light after the atrocious trade to #1 and selecting Young is that the entire Front Office will be fired and we can start again.

Dave and Nicole will still be here acting like they know what they’re doing though

It's a coping mechanism that this franchise's fanbase uses a lot.

The Texans were legitimately terrible last year - a new HC and a new QB elevating the talent around him and look at the immediate improvement.

That was meant to be us - and we weren't even terrible last season, just mediocre.

Our number 1 is a 32 year old slow white guy. This is such a dumb take

    • He makes a good point about Wallace.  In fairness to Wallace it is hard to play your position as freely as you need to when your defensive line is getting pushed around like ragdolls.  One of the greatest attributes a defensive line has is sucking up blocks, freeing up your linebackers.  Our defensive line couldn't suck up a lollipop more or less blocks.  I think Evans, Sanders and Tremble are going to be a really nice TE group.  I can see all three getting time on the field.  If Sanders can improve as a blocker teams won't be so inclined to believe it is a pass play whenever Sanders is on the field.  Ryan Fitzgerald, I think was an awesome pick-up. Hopefully he can fill our kicker void. Luke Kandra many turn out to be our next Norwell.  Everything I have heard about him says he's a beast.  He needs some refinement, but the good news is he's got Hunt and Lewis (arguably the best guard tandem in the league) to learn from.
    • Great teams build through the draft and have several young players that start that are on rookie contracts. It's important to hit on players in rounds 4 thru 7.  These should be future starters and solid depth.  When you hit on most of your picks you free up a lot of cap space for those one- or two-year players to fill spots you are thin at. No GM is going to perfect on all their picks.  You're going to whiff every once in a while.  That was Hurney problem.  He'd nail the first pick but after that it was reach after reach and we couldn't get any depth on this team. I'm excited about Morgan as our GM and hopefully he'll be around a long time.  It will be even better if Canales can continue to grow as a head coach, both in the development of young players and play calling. I remember last season after Young came back in the lineup and started to perform well.  We saw different plays I had only seen other teams use.   If Canales's play design and play calling continue to grow. Morgan and Canales will be linked together for a long time.  It would be nice to see a Coach and GM together for a decade or two. Go Panthers
    • They also came out for the encore and the singers were dressed in canes jerseys. Pretty fuging cool.
