The big difference here is that the Dolphins actually built this the right way. They fully embraced a full REBUILD!! They traded their star players away for future draft picks, traded Fitzpatrick, Laremy Tunsil for draft assests and flipped some of those into Tyreek Hill. We are currently half-assing everything here.

Our team here is lacking talent. We need to trade Burns away for future assets. He has gone MIA in these past 2 games. With these injuries to our starters, Fitt has failed to find good depth for some of our positions. When you look back at things, it's actually not really a surprise that we suck.

We would have to trade away Burns, Brown, Horn once he gets healthy and that is really all we can move that people might want. We messed up by trading away DJ Moore instead of Brown or Burns.

Correct. The threat of Tyreek Hill elevates those around him. But we can't dismiss Waddle's 1300 yards last season.

My point is it has more to do with scheme/coaching after watching him put up 70 with Hill and not much else. Also Evero’s Denver defense looks a lot worse without him there…

At this point, I'm ok with trading any or all three of these players. Since their time in the league, they have been around a losing culture so much that they have become losers. We need new talent and need to draft winners. I feel like this team lacks leadership in the form of a Luke, TD, Cam, or Olsen. Everyone on the team seems like a JAG at this point.

Which we have never been able to do...in all of our existence...through all of our garbage GMs...we absolutely suck in the late rounds.

It worked out one time for us and we went 15-1 and went to the SB. Gettleman's early FA moves were stellar but then he got cocky and thought he could plug every hole with a draft pick or a bargain basement FA. That didn't work out so well.

They Vance Joseph 3-4 is pretty different from Evero's

he already admitted he didnt go there

yeah, that's my point. literally, every single one of his posts is a reference to some shitty unc quarterback, unc itself, or his deranged perception of other university's quality of education. he doesn't get to ride the coattails of unc and poo on other schools.

Tua has elite offensive weapons and a great coaching staff supporting him. Bryce has virtually no pieces like that, and a coaching staff that is too predictable. Unfortunately, our chances of surrounding Bryce with talent is slim, as we virtually have no trade assets.

    • Playing around with mock draft simulator this is probably my favorite one yet All the Super tantalizing potentials were off the board at 19. Proctor was there but I really question if he can hold up at OT in the NFL at his size. I think speed rushers might put him in a blender. I was definitely willing to move down to pickup mire capital. There's an obvious focus on the trenches in this draft. If you can own the LOS you can win a lot of games. Hell, the Seahawks just won a SB doing just that. Iheanachor oozes potential. He has all the physical tools to end up being the beat OT in this class but he's pretty raw having not been playing football long. Well worth it with the first pick in the 2nd. Christen Miller is listed as a DT here but he'd play DE in our defense. Not a lot of people are talking about it focusing on LB instead but our DEs suck too. Lawson should be a day one starter at MLB. His NFL ceiling might be more good than great but that's fine. He's smart, he's capable, and he was the QB in that Bama defense. That's what we need. If you want to runaway 3-4 defense, you need a dog at NT. We don't have one. Orange can be that. He's not gonna pile up stats on his own but that's not the point of a NT. The point of a NT is to make everyone else's job easier.  Slaughter is a potential starting center. Maybe not as a rookie but he could potentially be the long-term answer. I'm never going to give up on my dream of the Panthers having a true sideline to sideline ball hawking FS. Safety wasn't high on my list but Bud Clark was too tempting to pass up. At the very least he's a guy who should earn a role on 3rd and long obvious passing down type situations.  Kevin Coleman is exactly the type of slot WR type we need working the underneath and muddle with T-Mac and Coker on the outside.  TJ Hall is just a dog and he's experienced playing outside and at nickel. He can cover and he's not afraid to step up against the run. He should be able to earn a roster spot as he hopefully develops as an NFL player. Nwaiwu is another development type pick with the advantage of having experience playing both LG and RG in college. At this point in the draft you're likely looking at guys projected as career backups and the more versatile you are as a backup the more roster value you have. I packaged two late rounders together to move io to secure Allar who has all the physical tools you want in a QB and has largely been forgotten since he missed a lot of games down the stretch this year. If he didn't he'd likely be a mid-round pick. He might still end up being a mid-round pick. If I could get him as a developmental guy in the 6th I'm doing that all day.
    • Honestly thought Ickey was fairlt average. That's just based on the eye test. I haven't seen any grades or anything to base that on. Usually when the QB was pressured, it seemed like it was coming from the LT or RG.
    • Its actually easier than the one we played this season of you compared 2025 win pct.of opponents.
