I was adamant about not wanting Bryce personally. I wanted Stroud or AR if we stayed at 9

I honestly warmed up to the idea after watching some games of his, the highlights...etc. but I wanted AR the entire time.  With Dalton here he could have road the bench and learned for a year before putting him out there.  Would not have been upset with Stroud either.

Who had Chuba as our best offensive player lol

So, you're blaming Chuba for the fuged up ass play calls where the D-line meets him basically at the hand off? There is so much more to complain about than Chuba. To be honest he was our best offensive player until Thielen finally stepped up.

there was no one to throw it to... he couldnt throw it out bc he was still in the pocket.  It was a coverage sack.

he actually had a lane to run through, and trust I love Young, but that was on him tryin to make a play downfield, he needs to use those wheels

If you hike the ball with 1 second left on the play clock the defense knows the ball is being snapped.

They’d all rather poo on the qb who is being forced into 3rd and longs with WRs who can’t create separation and an anemic offenseive game plan by our all-star coaching staff. They are handicapping Bryce.

Might how down as the worst trade in Panthers history.

He looks nothing like he did at Alabama. It's like the game is moving too fast for him.

Aint no might, brother.  It ain't even close.  I think the ehat most considered the previous worst for a long time was the Gilbert trade, but Gilbert was a good NFL player for a lot of years.

The entire pro game hinges on QBs now, and we went all in on the worst possible guy we could've drafted.  We are ass out for a minimum of 5 years from this trade and selection of Bryce.  Man, this poo sucks.

    • He makes a good point about Wallace.  In fairness to Wallace it is hard to play your position as freely as you need to when your defensive line is getting pushed around like ragdolls.  One of the greatest attributes a defensive line has is sucking up blocks, freeing up your linebackers.  Our defensive line couldn't suck up a lollipop more or less blocks.  I think Evans, Sanders and Tremble are going to be a really nice TE group.  I can see all three getting time on the field.  If Sanders can improve as a blocker teams won't be so inclined to believe it is a pass play whenever Sanders is on the field.  Ryan Fitzgerald, I think was an awesome pick-up. Hopefully he can fill our kicker void. Luke Kandra many turn out to be our next Norwell.  Everything I have heard about him says he's a beast.  He needs some refinement, but the good news is he's got Hunt and Lewis (arguably the best guard tandem in the league) to learn from.
    • Great teams build through the draft and have several young players that start that are on rookie contracts. It's important to hit on players in rounds 4 thru 7.  These should be future starters and solid depth.  When you hit on most of your picks you free up a lot of cap space for those one- or two-year players to fill spots you are thin at. No GM is going to perfect on all their picks.  You're going to whiff every once in a while.  That was Hurney problem.  He'd nail the first pick but after that it was reach after reach and we couldn't get any depth on this team. I'm excited about Morgan as our GM and hopefully he'll be around a long time.  It will be even better if Canales can continue to grow as a head coach, both in the development of young players and play calling. I remember last season after Young came back in the lineup and started to perform well.  We saw different plays I had only seen other teams use.   If Canales's play design and play calling continue to grow. Morgan and Canales will be linked together for a long time.  It would be nice to see a Coach and GM together for a decade or two. Go Panthers
