And this isn’t hyperbole.

The man has tried but everything he’s done (or not done) has turned to poo. CMC balling. Stroud balling. Richardson balling. Picks suck. Trades have sucked. Extensions have sucked. Not trading Burns for multiple firsts.

Remember Fitt and his scouts are the ones who were dead set on Bryce at one, and had to convince Frank. Not saying Frank is the answer, just starting at the top since Tepper can’t be fired.

He had a good look at it. Nice dude.

Next.

Where did you get Frank had to be convinced. Jury is still out on Bryce. I thought he played well despite the limitations placed around him.

Actually this is one of the best rosters on Madden

It's not the GM fault.

The coach should put players in position to win, but if your coach doesn't know half the time who's in the game ...I mean cmon he actually said it out his own mouth...my 10 yr said i wouldve took that to the grave dad.

He volunteered that information...I mean 😂

We really traded the best running back in football for several non-first round picks because an algorithm said it equals a first round pick.

while simultaneously turning down MULTIPLE first round picks for a dude in Burns that spends most games not even being mentioned. What a time to be alive

Yeah fitt completely sucked the talent out of the franchise in 1.5 years while getting no returns and blowing the one he had to take.

He 100% gotta go

I think that shows that something is wrong with our ability to properly evaluate college talent and/or put them in position to succeed in the NFL.

We moved up in the 3rd to get Corrall. Howell wasn't taken into the 4th round by Washington. The deals for Darnold, CJ Henderson were bad. We draft players who make no impact on the field. We need better performance from the GM and from the coaching staff.  This team is going nowhere with Fitterer and Reich this season.

A 6th straight losing season is almost a guarantee this year. I'd be happy now  if we just show some improvement on offense for the rest of the season. Fitz and Reich need to change what they're doing fast or the could both be looking for jobs at seasons end.

It is genuinely mindboggling that posters around here were praising Fitt to high heavens when that move first happened and anyone who called it out got poo'ed into oblivion. Absolute lunacy to trade him at all especially if you knew you were going up for a young QB, I can't think of a better player to have around a young QB than CMC. The perfect security blanket. But nah, we trade him for a half eaten bag of potato chips and then also Moore in the trade up giving our QB the single worst group of receiving threats in the NFL. Just further shows that this team is aimless IMO, there is no plan or longterm vision.

I didnt.  I praised fitt for deals like Gilmore and Viska.  But that CMC deal was complete bullshit.  RB or not.  Injury history be damned...  knowing what he was capable of in a Shanahan offense, with how talented their team already was and how valuable CMC was to them, aint no way you don't walk away from that trade without a first rounder.  Period.

But 100 poo picks equals a 1st cause pick list math is what we were sold! In some way I wonder if fitts needs quantity of picks cause the dartboard has more hits to be right vs teams that always find players everywhere regardless of round.

100%. And honestly, I sort of dislike the "RB" moniker when being used in relation to CMC. Yeah he's a RB on the depth chart, but he isn't just some pure north and south runner that has bricks for hands. Those are the types that you can find anywhere. CMC ain't that. CMC could be the #1 WR on a lot of teams, he is an absolute gamechanger who will be getting more touches than any player on the field besides the C and the QB. He can create seperation at WR and in general is fantastic at getting open short and finding holes in zones, especially the generally soft zone a lot of the NFL runs these days to prevent deep shots.

Look at him ripping the league to shreds in SF, that's what could've been here had we built around him correctly. I'll always wonder what prime CMC and Cam could've looked like. But yeah, the Gilmore deal was great; too bad we let him walk for nothing after and extended Donte which is gradually starting to look more and more like another bad contract.

    • He talks way too much about his time in Seattle and Russell Wilson and how they built that team in 2012.   I won’t fall for any of it until I see them play for a year
    • Lol people like you are so silly and the only reason I seem to care to log on to post these days. How can you sit there and say Bryce was the reason Williams hurt his knee on that play. Maybe it's because you dislike Bryce so you are somewhat blind as to what actually happened? Not quite sure but maybe you should get your eyes checked. Williams hurt himself by trying to make a cut after spinning around to make that catch. Pause it at 3:24. Had he landed and ran like normal instead of going to plant his foot in the ground and make a cut he doesn't get hurt. Don't put that on Bryce. That was 100% Williams fault he got injured
