If only Dundon had the funds to buy the panthers. He literally came in house day one. Cleaned it out promoted our coach and left all the hockey direct decisions to the GM and Coach. He’s very active in managing the business, as a business… but not the team.

If Reich didn't want Bryce, I'm 100% on board with firing both Reich and Fitterer today, literally TODAY

How can you hire a new HC, then trade away the franchise's future to take an undersized and under skilled QB that he didn't even want?

That would just be an utter failure on all accounts, fire Fitterer for taking Bryce and fire Reich for allowing him to take Bryce (if the HC really didn't want him, he could have stopped it and forced our hand to Stroud).

Can't even blame the OC when it's Frank call the plays out of his core O.  But Frank has done it before.

STOP trading the future for stupid ‘win now’ bets.

STOP making demands and let this org stabilize. Consistency and stability in staff and the front office is required for a winning team.

STOP thinking this team can win now. The Panthers are 3-4 years of decent drafts away from winning at a minimum.

Somebody needs to step up and go to a game donning a full on clown suit and wig while wearing a custom made David Tepper face mask. He's gonna ban you from BOA 100% but it'll be worth it. 😂

Reich won't give up play calling.

He is the check writer 

he wrote a lot of checks 

he can do whatever he wants whenever he wants 

if Reich does not give up play calling, he will be fired and that might not be a bad thing

I honestly wouldn't care. Frank was a iffy hire from the start and with him being a OC and QB guru they should have got the guy he felt the most comfortable with. I said this back on draft time, we needed a QB and you dont listen to the guy you specifically brought in to help fix that position allegedly? Makes no sense, disaster waiting to happen.

It would basically appease people over the bye week.  "They did something".  But it changes nothing in the short term.  All it takes is a week of football and everyone would be just as enraged with a L to Houston.

Taking Bryce was impulsive. It's like once they met with him, they really ceased evaluations. Tepper never should've been  in on those meetings. You hire football people to do football things. If you want a private meeting later, you send your jet to pick them up for a non-football related meeting with just the GM. 

I work in a contract business and it's such a waste to contract with and pay people ridiculous amounts of money for their specialty just to ignore their advice.

This is exactly what Tepper is doing. I think he now realizes he should've listened to Josh and taken CJ Stroud and that going back even further, he should've listened to damn near everyone and hired Wilks.

      Okay then. To me that means Russell Wilson was Coryell. Because I see the proposition completely in the Russell Wilson punt/pass put it up for grabs mold. Count on the receiver to catch it or knock it down.    And the reason I thought that was the intent with Legette is the abysmal downfield game from 2023. As in, there was barely any.   I look at it as if… the result of a deep attempt isn’t as important as the opponent understanding they have to defend it. So I was all for some 50/50s. Coryell, Walsh whoever.  I do favor the Coryell approach personally but also very much value versatility, it doesn’t have to be strict. Just make the defense defend the whole field, however you do it. It has to include downfield throws.

      Sold, or in the process of being sold. Could be either way. Consider this for a second... Last season, our defensive coordinator steered what many have called the worst defense in NFL history.  Canales would absolutely have been justified in firing him, and no one would have blamed him if he had.  But what did he do? He gave Evero another chance to come back and prove he could be better. Does that tell us something about Canales? I think it does. Now apply that to Bryce 😕

      Canales has never been part of big YAC offenses in the NFL.  That’s not his tree.  Not in Seattle, Tampa or here.  Every O he has been associated with basically has been bottom half of the league in YAC.  That’s what Bryce needs to happen though  2 very different things….and very much gets into why the middle school QB doesn’t fit
