Leave it to the Panthers to give us the tank year so many have been calling for after we trade away next year's 1st. That's peak David Tepper.

It's peak Panthers because it wasn't planned - we've sold the farm, now we're salting the fields.

Realistically we need an intervention from the NFL - Tepper is destroying this franchise.

It does. Watching DJ go off for his best career game and Bears 2nd best game ever and seeing them mention the pro bowl and then showing a CMC snippet of him setting 49ers TD record and mentioning pro bowl again just hurt.

Watching Fields seem to come into his own now and saying that he’s doing it because he finally has his elite WR like Brown and Hill just hurts as well.

My joke hot take that Frank would make us miss Rhule appears to be happening and that really stings.

This board was calling for people to trade McCaffery for his durability issues long before it happened.  It's exactly what they are doing with Horn now.

McCaffrey is benefiting immensely and producing because of the offense ran by Shanahan.

DJ Moore is producing with Justin Fields on one of the league's worst consistently ran franchises. If we were to undue any trade it would be giving away Moore for the worst of the top 3 QB's in this years draft.

It's already destroyed. The culture is gone, no fans coming to games, and the laughing stock of the NFL. What else can he possibly do to make it any worse?

Lowest point since they came to North Carolina. Fuggin shame.

The fred lane, rae carruth, Derrick coleman,  Bobby phills, george shinn era was pretty a wild and low point for charlotte sports as a whole but that was on an entirely different spectrum.

But Frank Reich is the best coach since Lombardi,He was only fired because the colts didnt know what they had , that's what I was told for 6 months and personaly insulted when I suggested otherwise, with Brady gone we will own the NFC South, and we will be superbowl contenders

Lol, those of us who have seen this movie for 28 years and are no longer drinking the Kool aid saw this coming, maybe, just maybe we did know what we were talking about!!!!

The right coach could’ve brought a decent QB out of Baker (which we’ve seen in both LA and TB), we could’ve kept DJ, could’ve kept all our draft picks, and would almost certainly be in the division race this year. And if not? Caleb Williams.

Tepper showed Jordan-like impatience with the end of last year and I don’t think he’s done yet.

    • Basically agree.  He is the one of that bunch that offers upgraded pass catching along with he is supposed to be kind of special.   Then you have the OL and the ideas that if they perform you can have JAG backs and still do well. So okay we could be fine.  But Brooks is important and to me that receiving element sets him apart.  So there sure is something riding on him.     What strikes me as incongruent is people over in Atlanta or those that follow them look at Penix with a third surgery and act like it is no big deal.      And we are on pins and needles over Brooks.  Either they should worry a lot more or we should worry a lot less.
    • I usually go a game or two optimist over the consensus here but this is too early for me to say. I need to see some players on the field.  I am not feeling real optimistic though.
    • Okay as a ‘take CJ’ fan I actually don’t obsess over CJ and Houston, contrary to the narrative.  But I thought I picked up some noise that his OL left a lot to be desired.    Not a single Beyce supporter would judge him harshly if he had a crappy OL. We all know that.    So be fair about it.  A QB needs to be protected.  Especially a guy that gets to his spot and wants to finish the play from there. Which CJ is.
