You see Bryce improving, and yet you're calling for Dalton on a 0-6 team. That's just ludicrous.

Because 0-17 isn't palatable to me.  Bryce's baby steps (pun intended) isn't enough to win games at this rate.  He's going to have to make some serious and significant strides to win a game this season.  Couple that with our defense giving the resistance of wet paper, scoring 21 points or less a game is a guaranteed winless season.

@Zod this is why this place has gone down hill. You know it’s bad when your mods make up party of the shitty posters.

Agreed.  It’s pretty pathetic.  I truly feel like most of our mods are 14 years olds locked in their basement.  The Huddle has become a joke.

I personally don't think its a matter of Arm strength.  Its more about accuracy and timing.  He can certainly throw it far enough with no problem.  And he doesn't really strain to throw it.  But his accuracy on throws that are 20 yards in the air (in particular to his left), seems to be a big question mark right now.

I will point out that Tua had the same question marks early in his career.  His first year and a half in the league seemed to be mostly 5 yard passes.

Then tua got a new coach

    • Yup. Hopefully  Brandon adds some muscle this off-season but he'll probably be resting his shoulder for a while so I doubt it. Miles should probably be replaced but I don't think we find a better 4th option to be honest. So is it better to add depth along side williams and Coby or try to upgrade the 4/5 . I think adding depth will probably be more beneficial than trying to upgrade starters and bank on Brandon and Kons continuing development. I really don't think they are going to make the playoffs unfortunately. I think the big hole they put themselves in has exhausted them. They've been amazing since January 1 but I think it's come at a cost and their legs are gone.
    • The issue is the predictability of it all in a Bryce Young led offense. In 4th down attempts the Jets were at 41 and we were at 40. And we were 4th in conversation %. We were 25th in the league in 3rd down conversion because we faced so many 3rd and longs in part due to playcalling on 1st and 2nd down but more largely due to the limitations that cannot be overcome.  And people want us to spend another 1st rounder on WR as if it is going to magically give Bryce physical talent he will never possess. It's a shame we cut off our own nose just to put ourselves in this frustrating predicament.
