And walk away from those millions? No way.

It’s not like Tepper is the first controlling owner the league has seen.  There are still only 32 of these gigs in existence.  Even being horrible as a HC keeps you employed in the good old boys network down the road.

Frank needed time off.  We look like a team that just hired a fired offensive train wreck.   Because we did.

Pat speaking some truth here.  Good clip.  Some very basic observation about Frank looking to be in trouble.  He doesn’t look or sound good.

Really like his Tepper rant at the 8 minute mark…which is basically an overly involved wealthy guy going….we need to fire the HC, we need to hire a new HC. We need to fire GM, we need hire a new GM.  We need a new QB.   We need a need to fire the playcaller.  We need a new QB.  We need a new playcaller.  We need to fire the HC.  We need a new HC.  We need a new QB.   We need a new playcaller.   And that brings us to today.

who would want to come to this poo show.

The comments are great. Everyone can see what is happening here.

Everyone but Tepper.

I’m really hoping this mess takes a toll on Tepper at personal level.

It’s obvious Tepper gets attached to guys. Whether it was Ron, Fitt, Frank, Bryce, whoever. He gets pretty buddy buddy with his hires.

Hopefully having to fire his friends over and over again causes him to pull back from the day to day.

I don’t agree with this. Tepper seems like the kind of guy who wants to have friends really bad but the only reason anyone hangs out with him at this point is because he’s a billionaire and signing checks for these people. I have a strong notion he doesn’t have any real friends.

If Tepper is micromanaging as much as we say he is on here Frank will just resign and I wouldn't blame him.  I'm not saying it's wrong, but if Tepper MADE Frank draft Young and is dictating who calls the plays, no one can operate like that.

I was thinking in the offseason. He built his staff and there is accoubtability to those he brought on. It's hard to see it during the season for that reason.

I guess Frank and Tepper can always negotiate the money part. Tepper can pay him to go away if he wants to make it look better than a firing. I need to see Tepper pull off a win-win strategy to belive that option tho.

Steve Wilks could've brought in Thomas Brown to be OC. Never got and never will get the chance though. People talked on here like he was an incompetent fool. And look at what it looks like we have now.

The passage of time and the suckage of Reich have made people forget apparently. I vividly remember getting destroyed by the Bengals in one half of football and failing to vanquish the lowly Steelers at home who got blown out by the Texans this season and playing not to lose against the Bucs with the division on the line.

Both are dinosaurs who had been fired already. What we needed all along was to go the youth route and hire an up and coming NFL coordinator. We opted for choosing between two retreads with head coaching experience. It failed again.

the real answer is we shouldn't of brought in a Wilks/Reich.  Not wanting a Wilks type coach is a fine position.  But we hired an offensive variation of him.  Frankly, Wilks is probably a better version of that type despite being a defensive variant.

it's 2023.  We should of hired a HC suited for that.  Which isn't Wilks or Reich.

Wilks got more slander than Frank who hasn't won a game since we hired him.

I keep seeing people say he will be better he just needs more time lmao

Tepper will allow it. We will suck again next year then he will fire him after next season. We are about to waste 2 years and there is nothing we can do about it.

Wasted 5 already. Tepper is a dick. He needs to sell the franchise.

Yeah, but do you also vividly remember it being Rhule's players, GM, and OC? Do you remember the QBs that started both the Cinci and Pittsburgh games? Lastly, do you remember what was left in the secondary by the week of the Bucs game? How can you hold that resurgence of misfit toys against the man when he basically took nothing and made it respectable? I would just like Wilks to get the shot that let's say Kingsbury got after him, the shot McDaniels is getting after Flores. Just once, I would like to see what he could do with an organization behind him. We definitely looked a lot more competent against the Lions than this year. Again, you guys would rather support a snot nosed coordinator than established team leaders. Quit being swept up in the shiny video game OC coaching style. You still have to run the ball and play defense. We have only been able to do that for five or so weeks in the last four years and you know who the coach was.

    • Same, bro.  Yeah, it just feels it has run its course and I don’t know that we’ll ever get more value.  Plus, with the new ownership, this draft has been super encouraging, so dare I believe maybe this FO can get something to really put us over the top in return for Melo.  I’ll still be a fan of his game and try to keep up with him if we move on, but yeah, I feel it’s time to turn the page. (and side note: I felt so happy after their rookie years because I told everybody I wanted Melo and didn’t trust Ant.  And Melo clearly looked like the better player early…  I thought Ant would bust because all that stuff he said about not loving the game and just his resume to that point…  but damn, if we could go back in time.🤣🤣🤣. I love Ant’s game and at times, when he gets in the zone, he is THE BEST player in the league in my opinion.)
    • Appreciate that, bro!  And I could definitely see that with Cam.  Even though he’s a little younger than me, he is also someone I admire and feel a kinship with for a lot of various reasons. Funny enough, a few years after that encounter with Steve, I went to Charlotte with one of my friends whose brothers owned a moving company at the time.  He dropped me off uptown and went to work the day with them where I would wait until he got done and then we were gonna go to the Bobcats game that night.  So I walk all through that area for hours.  After awhile, I walk back towards the arena and sit in a bench on the backside of the arena, where the practice court and player’s entrance was.  As I’m sitting there, I look up and almost think I’m seeing things - I squint and blink my eyes a couple times just to be sure, and yes…  it’s one of my childhood heroes, Muggsy Bogues walking across the crosswalk and into the arena.  I think he was coaching the Sting then, iirc.  Part of me wanted to just say, “Hey!  Muggsy!  Thank you for the inspiration and memories!  You were one of my favorite players as a kid!”  But, I just watched him walk by and into the arena and thought, “that was cool!”  I also so Miguel Cotto a couple years back while in Orlando and told my kids who it was but didn’t say anything to him.  I think somewhere in my subconscious, that encounter with Steve really made me feel like the gamble on finding out if they’re receptive to interaction just isn’t worth finding out.  At the end of the day, no matter if they’re receptive inspired us or were a hero, unless they initiate it, I likely never will…  because again, they’re humans just like us.  Not anymore unique or special, they just have a highly visible and very public job that we get to watch and in some ways participate.  So, I just appreciate it for what it is.
    • I'm pleasantly surprised they gave it to Bryce Young over Josh Allen. Finally we're getting some respect. Now I'm just hoping the team follows this up accordingly and doesn't lay another egg.
