Hunter Renfro

Is it Josh McDaniels that turned Renfro into crap? Renfro had a solid first two years going over 600 yards in each and then had that pro-bowl year 3. He missed 7 games last year but even when healthy last year and all of this year, he’s an afterthought. McDaniels offense has fallen off a cliff too.

At this point just sign Mike Evans to a Multi-year and Curtis Samuel to a 1-year. Let the rookie Mingo ride the pine next season and learn from Evans. Idgaf about any other wr on the team.

X) Evans - Y) Samuel - Z) Thielen is a huge upgrade over what we have now.

    • I mean the fact that guys like Blake and FUS and Nystrom ect are actually AHL guys speaks to the drafting and talent acquisition.... people may not have loved it at the time but keeping a full pipeline of talent to be a yearly contender was the right move.... now if we could just get a blue chip right d and g we would be set
    • We're honestly good enough at WR to not risk bringing in someone like this.  Plus if he didn't like the QB situation in SF, woo boy.
    • The problem with all those scenarios is typically that you don't find out the player is a problem child until too late. The team trading him to you has zero reason to be honest about that. Even his teammates are likely to be fairly tight lipped unless it is off the record or it has now become widely known how bad the player's attitude/issues are. Think about Brown specifically. He wasn't widely/publicly known as a nutbag until late in his career, although ample evidence existed prior to that point.  It makes sense. Like a teammate or not, it's not wise to be out there blabbering about locker room issues in front of the public. Not a way to endear yourself to current or future teammates.
