Man if only we had a reciever like DJ Moore, and perhaps a shifty rb that could catch passes out of the backfield.  Nahhhhhh we got a pg we don't need them (eventhough those are exactly the guys that would thrive with a "pg" type quarterback). Could fat fuging Fitterer and bozo tepper have plans that were any more idiotic

Never underestimate the level of fugtardery this leadership group can achieve.

Pretty wild that we brought in these weapons to help get Cam over the hump only to take them away when it's time to get a new franchise QB.

I know you guys love to complain about the situation but please don't have revisionist history. It has been public knowledge that without Moore we don't get Bryce. It's how the Bears GM said he wanted it to go down. If Moore was not on the table it would have have been done. There's no point in complaining about Moore or act like we could have had Bryce and Moore. It was never going to happen. Sucks this is the dimension we live in but what is done is done guys.

Bears would have taken other offers from us if we included DBrown or BBurns. Their top guy was DJ Moore but they were open to others.

    • I see both sides of the arguments, but compared to last year we're somehow at an upgrade over completely fried Dalton and wasn't even good in college Plummer. At least Pickett and Grier probably have some desire to make more money when Dalton was happy to just go through the motions and I will never understand why they even bothered with Plummer.
    • After watching Dan for 3 yrs now, I think I understand his plan. It’s a simple plan that should work for the long run.     I saw some of this last yr. Dan wants a vet and a young player at each position. I really think we go OT if one they like there. Moton is aging, Icky will not be back until 27, if ever. We need to get ahead of the tackle problem
    • You are just stressing too much about these particular positions. You want to upgrade from Bryce and I understand that but you aren’t going to really get that without getting into a bidding war for a QB2 potential QB1 like Willis. You could possibly trade for Mills or the backup for Chicago but they are still gambles and their teams will won’t decent picks.  Again the Eagles thought KP was a capable enough backup to trade for him once their backup was hurt and won a Super Bowl with him as QB2. The point is most teams aren’t rolling with some stud QB2/3 that is going to push even a bottom tier starter. They are better off the building their roster in other areas. The Rams are rolling with Bennett right now as QB2 for example.  The goal is winning absolutely. We overachieved last year even with stumbling into the playoffs. Another year and this staff needs to take the next step in building a team. Will Grier has little to no impact on that….
