I’m convinced that with above average WRs Young can be VERY good

I was going to post the same thing earlier but say just average wide receivers. It’s impressive how Young has been able to consistently improve each week while the pieces around him have stayed consistently bad.

Outside of Thielen who is essentially a crafty slot receiver these days, Bryce Young has nobody.

You look at separation numbers and each week they’re all below league average. Yet Bryce is still completing passes at a high rate due to incredible accuracy and anticipation. The ball to Mingo on the final drive was a perfectly placed ball, high and outside.

Whoever made the final decision to ship of DJ instead of Brown or Burns should be fired. They absolutely need to go out before the deadline and get Young some help

The Bears were willing to take Brown, Burns or DJ.

"By no means did the Panthers want to trade DJ, but the Bears were smart," Rosenhaus said. "They knew the Panthers really wanted to draft a quarterback. They were insistent on getting DJ as part of that package. And they landed a No. 1 wide receiver for Justin Fields. Great trade for the Bears."

That throw to thielen was 35 yards in rhe air without even stepping into it and he put it right where it needed to be. Young has great anticipation and is extremely accurate.. Would be great to surround him with some actual playmakers and a GM that knew how to rate personnel

The Bears would’ve accepted Brown, Burns or DJ.
