Most likely she was in in a social media communication PR position with the franchise which is an entry level positive for many sports/communication majors out of college.

I had a nephew work one of those in the NHL...................Rush Limbaugh had his first job in the media doing PR for the KC Royals in MLB....

Those jobs barely pay a living wage and if you are single work for a while as you try to climb the ladder.......my nephew couldn't afford to live alone and had to find a roommate to pay the bills...........for some they get to rub shoulders a bit with the players and other higher profile media type which is where they hope will be their ticket out of the "paying your dues" position they are in.

If you take a job like this with a NASCAR team they send you out on the road with a body shell look alike show car and you sit out front at a sponsors store front and hand out discount flyers to shoppers as they ask dumb questions about a car that often doesn't even have an engine in it.......

In other words the job sucks.............and nobody knows you are doing it.

you have to start somewhere and if sports is your passion I imagine getting your foot in the proverbial door of a nfl franchise could be rewarding down the road

That's exactly what my nephew did for an NHL team.....being a sports junkie and working in communications it was a dream starter job for him.....but once meeting a girl and wanting to get married he couldn't wait to find a job that paid a livable wage.

    • Cam was hitting his stride as a QB in 2017/2018.     This is why I think stats like completion percentage are overrated. As long as a QB is clutch and makes the throws to win the game the rest doesn’t really matter. What good is a check down stat padder if they’re a choker.  Until Norv Turner (and briefly Chud) got here we put Cam in high pressure throwing situations all the time. We also ran the ball on first down more than most teams in the NFL in the Ron era. Coupled with shitty WRs, all that is expressed in his stats. I also assume Cam took the ball in his hands on many occasions rather than trust Funchess to catch the ball.    It was also never Cams job to play the game like someone else. His presence on the field dictated the game in a way that is rarely seen.  He showed he could play the dink and dunk game just before TJ Watt. That didn’t suddenly make him better than his earlier seasons. He just got put in a legit under center  passing game again for first time since his rookie year with Chud.    Ron took the quickest path to success and abused the RPO because his ass was about to get fired.    Cam never got the credit for being the cerebral player that he was. I just think when you are legitimately a human Superman, sometimes the best play is having the ball in your hands. He was a better passer than Delhomme was.
    • I don't think Canales has any problem benching Bryce or moving on if Bryce doesn't come out playing like the end of last year.  It's year 3 no more excuses for Bryce
    • Yea Bryce was definitely a top half qb the second half of last season but I'm not sure Canales is 100% sold on him.  Like I've said in another post I think that's part of why we talked to so many South Carolina players in the draft process.  I think they are doing early due diligence on Sellers just in case.
