I want us to either trade for Aiyuk or sign Hollywood Brown this offseason. If we can sign Hollywood we should also draft a weapon early. Hollywood, AT, Tez (or another rookie), plus 2nd year Mingo is s solid group for Young to work with. Mingo can become our slot when AT is done.Ā

Mingo I don’t think fits a slot role.Ā

I'm getting sick and tired of seeing Mingo Chark and TMJ underperform. Why not give ISM and some other some chances? They're 1-8 what would they have to lose? Do they just not care?

Is there just no point given Bryce /o line can't do well enough to get the ball to them?Ā

This team would have Steve Smith still returning punts so Isaac Byrd could get more reps.Ā

I doubt Aiyuk is going to be on the trade block. He’s one of the best pure receivers in the league and has emerged this year in SF as their 1. Would love it though, one of my fave players in the league.

I agree but some people think they might ship him for picks due to salary cap issues. IMO they would be better off trading Deebo now that they have CMC, but who knows.Ā

Strachan had a big 45 yard gain and one other target and I don't think he saw the field after that much.

He had 13 offensive snaps for the game, which I suppose is not bad for a guy fresh off the practice squad.Ā  He is a track star, so he definitely has speed, I hope they can find some use for him.Ā Ā

Fwiw, the pass to him definitely showed that Bryce can throw a nice deep ball when he has time and an open receiver.Ā Ā

Interesting, agree they'd be better off dishing Deebo.Ā  AiyukĀ would be a big one.Ā  He's one of the best route runners and separatorsĀ in the game.Ā  There would be no more excuses.Ā Ā

TMJ as well as our offensive line looked prime to break out and be the least of our worries. Now with this revolutionary offense created specifically for Bryce, everybody looks like they have never played football. I mean seriously, McAdoo had us looking like we had a decent offense that needed a few pieces. Now it is complete trash.Ā

TMJ was never close to a breakout. He’s sucked the entire time he’s been here.Ā

    • I think we have some revisionist around it here because of all the drama around Tepper's involvement. If you pull up any scouting report from the time you'll see theĀ same take. WalterFootball'sĀ report sumsĀ up the media's thoughts on himĀ well:Ā "Young has everything the NFL is looking for in a quarterback except in terms of weight and height." He was the consensus top QB of his draft and the only real question mark they had about himĀ was whether his body could hold up in the NFL. The infamous Steph Curry comparisonĀ the Panthers latched onto cameĀ fromĀ Albert Breer. The excuses I've heard forĀ him are more anecdotal. Bryce Young's development is the only bullet point most NFL fans have on the Panthers right now. That and the coaching turnover. If you're not actually watching our games it's easy to believe this is just a dysfunctional organization that doesn't know how to unleash this talented Heisman winner.Ā Ā I've seen media and fans alike run with that narrative way more than criticizing Young outright. Whenever we win there's flocks who use it as proof that the Panthers just need to beĀ patient. Ā
    • So maybe 1-3 vs playoff teams, going by standings as of today. I guessĀ that is an improvement.Ā  We are just about improved enough to be in purgatory draft wise. It really isn’t so bad in the 1st unless you really want that top QB or maybe edge guy because there are usually plenty of good players at the top but it hurts you some as get deeper in the draft.Ā
