So his size is what you’re referencing….got it. The only reason I might advocate sitting Bryce for the remainder of this season is so he could focus on adding 10-15lbs before next year.

Batted balls were a big concern with his height. Haven’t seen that issue much this year. I think he can overcome the height, but he needs to be able to run through some arm tackles that have been sacks this year.

I fully expect Young to add some bulk and zip to his passes this offseason similar to Burrow.  However if we don't fix this OL and get him weapons it's not going to matter....

those aren't special moments though.  When someone says they want to see a moment of a #1 overall QB showing a glimpse of being a special/game changer.......those aren't it.  Moving a DB with your eyes once?

PJ Walker has a better highlight reel than Bryce Young for crying out loud.

There are few things I’d rather see from a rookie QB than the ability to move a defense away from where you intend to throw. It’s very difficult to manipulate NFL defenders. To do so as a rookie, even for one play, is special.

Bryce has the lowest QBR in the entire league and that is saying alot considering so many injuries to starting QBs and rookie qbs playing.  I would like to see Dalton play a game or two more just to see if its a huge upgrade then we know it really is Bryce holding the entire offense back.  Its really hard to gage if Reich is a good coach or not b/c Young seems so limited physically that it seems they have to scale back the playbook a ton.  I have no clue how the scouts did not notice his total lack of velocity.

This staff is married to Young now.  They need him to show something to protect their jobs.  If they put in Dalton and he is an upgrade it still looks bad on their part.  The best chance for any success out of them is for Bryce to some some progression and give the fans some hope.  They are all in on him and it will probably last through next year.

I just cannot believe that on this day of Nov 20, 2023, this fuging team is in the predicament it's currently in.  I mean...I'm certainly well aware of it...but I just cannot believe how bad they have screwed EVERYTHING up.  Just absolutely brutal.

This. The front office has done almost everything wrong. Only move worth a damn was Luvu. Everything else has been an epic failure. Now we are stuck with a bust #1 franchise QB, no draft capital, a team full of holes, a dumbass GM, a piss poor coach, and a meddling poo show of an owner.

Bryce is a flat out bust now just imagine Bryce without Thielen…haha damn. He would be under 100 yds a game.

A WR the Vikings decided to cut instead of paying a measly $12mil for just a year ago. Theilen has been good for us, but let’s not pretend like Bryce has much help.

Bryce only has eyes for Theilen…doesn’t even try to hit anyone else. We were told Bryce was elite in processing defenses…but that is the biggest lie of all. CJ I doesn’t have elite WR either but he makes them look that way. Bryce can’t give us 1 play a game to even keep hope alive he can be more than the bust he is.

Is any of the criticism of what's surrounding Young invalid?

It is valid

…but,  pretending he is not part of the issue is also not valid.

when plays are there to be made, can be made, should be made, he seldom makes them   Several of those plays were there yesterday. He failed.

His  physical limitations are on full display in the NFL and he exerts zero pressure on the defense with his arms. Legs, or sadly, his mind.

I’m sad to say, this guy is not it…I wish, as a PSL holder that was not so but it is…he has made not one play that looks like a worthy, top  10 nfl draft pick.

He does not belong…now, not his fault he was  drafted where he was or other issues but the fact is he does nothing, when he has the opportunity, to make anyone believe he belongs

being bad occasionally is one thing, as is being inexperienced, and being injured is another  thing,  but his performance is utterly hopeless regardless

Bottom line, if everything around him is as bad as is said, then sit him until the issues around him improve, if that’s next year, fine, otherwise his shortcomings only are exacerbated and no one is going to see anything other than a QB whose best asset is being a weapon for the opposing team.   His own teammates will also stop listening if they haven’t already.
