I am going to say this:

Frank Reich is a good man and outside of football I think he's admirable. Honestly, he should have taken a year off between head coaching assignments and retooled his philosophy.

And maybe, just maybe, he was a heck of an OC and QB coach, but just hit his ceiling back then.

I wish him the best in his future endeavors, but man, it was obvious that this was not working out with him here.

Soo Chris Tabor…that’s an interesting choice

Makes a bit of sense as he had been an interim before

could be the DC wanted to stay the DC and explore options at end of the season, too that side of the ball isn’t  totally tragic or  total chaos so leave it alone

i always felt that this Large staff was helping Tepper hedge his bets.

If Reich didn’t work, he had other coaches to help him tread water and buy time to get who he wanted for the next dance with the devil

this was not working.  Why continue it.  In my decades of watching pro football, attending live. Games etc, I have never, ever seen anything this hopeless and I don’t know the word for worse than hopeless, that’s what this offense was with Reich

GM should’ve gone as well

He's old and his play calling is outdated.

What he does off the field shouldn't matter. You get paid millions to perform a job. He was underperforming at his job.

Good guys gets fired all the time.

This year is lost. Tepper better get the next hire right. I think this team needs a culture change. Harbaugh might be the man for the job, unless Tepper can con Wilks into coming back, or go hard after Belichick in the off season, if he is let go.

Why would you want Bill? He has done zip since Tom left which tells me it was more about Tom than Bill being the GOAT. I don’t think Harbaugh would mix well with Tepper, not really a yes man and there’s no way in hell Wilks would work for Tepper again.

To sell tickets, period. Tepper needs a Harbaugh, so he can learn from him. I agree on Wilks that ship sailed.

    • Good read and stuff under it is not bad either. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/article/panthers-cb-jaycee-horn-says-184519429.html
    • While I'd love to add him, it just doesn't make sense for where we are at in our re-build right now. The only teams who should be interested are those who have a very legitimate shot at winning the SB this season, as any team who makes the trade is going to be mortgaging their future to make the move. Teams who make these kinds of trades and then give them the massive contract, in the hopes that it will expedite their path to contention, ALWAYS ends up backfiring because they have to give up the 1st round picks that are then needed to help build out the rest of the roster after eating up such a significant chunk of the cap on the new contract. There is no way the Cowboys trade him for anything less than 2 future 1st rounders (and probably more), plus we'll have to make him the highest paid non QB in league history.  Not to mention that it would then have made the Scourton and/or Princely picks a bit of a waste, as those 2nd and 3rd round picks would have been better off used on a ILB or DB
    • Like his approach to pre season that's ro get them out there and play together for a few plays and right about the night before and morning before.  Maybe we can come out the gate on fire I can smell the smoke from here!!   Go Panthers
