Honestly, Greg is a guy I trust, period. I get it about experience, but if he doesn't know how to do something or hasn't done it, I know he will consult people and surround himself with people who do.  He'll figure it out.  Also, isnt he a coach's son?  Might just be in his blood.  It definitely wouldn't be one of Tepper's worst decisions...  and he has plenty of them to choose from.

I like Greg a lot, but if he wants to be a head coach he should do it the right way by starting at the bottom as a position coach or something like that and working his way up.

The Greg they deserve

Seriously, Greg stay in the booth. It's a great fit for you. This would just be watching another fan favorite being brought back to face endless failure. Whatever happens I don't want anyone I respect taking the job because it's going to make watching them fail that much worse.

Greg isn't Tepper's booze brother, so the correlation isn't there.

Tepper could see another short term bandaid to try to get people to come to his circus tent on mint st

just like his bring back Cam homecoming to play 1-2 games

    • I watched a clip of all the offensive snaps. Young threw into some tight coverage and the guys made some plays on the ball. He also really missed some throws.  He has this middle of the field thing into a tight window pretty good and made three or four nice plays but he was just too inconsistent with his accuracy especially in the red zone. Today and in general.    That Int where people were chastising Legette for ‘not fighting through the coverage’, he in no way could have gotten to that ball. IMO. I think he thought it was going to hit the ground and didn’t see the defender coming for it. But not sure what he could have done. The camera doesn’t show the spatial relationship very well, I think the ball was way off. maybe 6 feet or more off target to the inside of the field.  Rico is a beast. And a very good receiver.   That was my impression without dissecting and rewinding, just letting the video roll. I did rewind the int two or three times to look at that one.
    • My biggest issue with keeping Darnold, which I felt we should have done, is we would still have Fitterer. And everything that came with that.  I think Morgan is going to be good.  Baker, just did not play well at all here. Not sure what else we were supposed to take away from it at the time.  That’s my short ‘I don’t want to argue about it’ take.
    • Even if we somehow make the playoffs we will be one and done so fast. Seattle, Rams, TB, Panthers, Detroit and Philly are all better than us.
