Please watch any other team on any week and tell me that they have worse, coaching, less talent, and a worse offensive line. I am not one to defend mediocrity, but if this is what you are, judging your quarterback, off of, you’d be better off running a wing T for your satisfaction.

You might want to check what's going on in Washington and NY before you post. Both give up more sacks than we do, neither has stud WRs either just like us, and Ron Rivera lol?

Seems like he's just overthinking it in these situations now after all the turnovers and those pick sixes.

I just don't see a viable path to him becoming more than an average starter that needs an all star cast around him.

If it's up to me. At this point there's nothing that can happen this season or next that makes me think we shouldn't target a QB early in 2025.

Every fuging “good” QB has more than what he has so let’s start there. Regardless he looked like a rookie. And on THIS team a rookie ain’t good enough.

He's just not big enough. Period.

Small guys CAN be a success but it's rare. Brees? One of the best QBs of all time. Hurts? Dude can lift 600 lb, is fast AF, and has a laser arm. Tua? He's special. Bryce is like a discount Kyler Murray. At best he'll be ... Kyler Murray. He will never be Brees, Hurts, or Tua.

Both teams have more weapons than us. If you don’t think so, you should “check what’s going on before you post”. We have given this kid the worst situation to step in as a rookie. Rivera and Daboll aren’t dumb enough to pass on 3rd and 4th needing 1 yard.

Idk man. This game is probably my be most he’s flashed, but also the most frustrated I’ve been with him. If you want to call him a bust I’m not arguing it anymore.

He looked okay under center. That's a big part of what I wanted to see.

Possibly, but he looked pretty disgusted at the end there.

Well hopefully he will pull the trigger on Bryce, put dalton in rest of year. I’m not gonna say he is a bust yet as much as I want to. But he is definitely not ready at this time, at least we have a better chance with dalton. Let Bryce actually earn his spot next year during preseason.

I think it's because we only needed one yard and threw it 2x. Chubba was running like a man on fire and we decide to throw it 2x.

I just don't understand coaches sometimes.  You have a portion of the offense that is actually working, and you don't even try it once.  Fwiw, Mingo and Chuba both had solid games today.

If you have to take your starting QB off the field for a sneak there's nothing more that needs to be said.

Had the layup pick with Stroud. Had all the intangibles we seeked. We got cute. We got burned.

    • I believe Lloyd will elevate not just the whole unit, but also whoever his running mate is. Wallace is still very young, I think he's only 23 with two years of exp now. Cherelus can handle starting, he's just fighting with staying healthy. Kuwatch I think is going to be a contender after a couple week of understanding the system.  I mean Lee will be against..... what nearly 10 NFL-level WRs, he's going to get work and its up to him if he can hang.  I think its fair to expect 12th +/- 3 or 4 spots.  You know this, it boils down to how healthy everyone stays.....cause if dbrown, horn, Lloyd, Michael Jackson, or tervon miss extended time.....no way 10th can be reached. IF all the names above remain haethly, I do think 10th should be the goal. They are a young unit and added talent to a 16th ranked unit. Its time to march forward!!
    • Varying degrees all around but it starts at the top. That is where the buck stops. It has been 8 years of stupid, long before Morgan came back. Or Tillis was hired. Made it to the top of stupid mountain in 2023. Stayed in stupid limbo for a while, now we are prepping to scale the next mountain. In this case, I like those guys’ roster building better than what we have had so I am okay with them as our current pawns in the game of Bryce.
    • Don't let me gas him up too much, but I hear this and that...... I seen a wide body man with a quick burst, that's able to shed blocks and if extends his long arms its over. He tore up the OL in the senior, you seen about 10 plays and the dog walking OLman. There's other plays of him doing the same, just have to deal with fetus talking over the plays. Plus there's this-  https://x.com/PFF_College/status/2018385471068332410?lang=en     I hope he's ready, cause Id like to see him starting and doing his thang with dbrown, nic, and Phillips.
