Best guess, because he's bad at it.

His stock was so high it could only go down. Even if he went out and lit it up, not worth the risk when you know you can no-throw and be top 2 at the worst.

It’s not just stroud. Levis, Devito, Jake Browning, hell even Desmond Ridder threw for over 300 yesterday. What is the excuse for Bryce? The guy is Clausen level bad.

The reality is that Bryce showed up at the combine with one goal. Step on that scale over 200 pounds. He'd been hitting the buffets for the last month and tanked up with water to pull it off. He hid his newly developed gut and spare tire underneath that hoodie all weekend.

It is what it is. I don't blame him. Youe job as a draft prospect is to maximize your draft status. The Panthers just took the bait.

Hell at this point Will Levis has shown more than Bryce has all season. Incredible end to that game.

We’d be leading the division if we just kept CMC, DJ, and drafted Levis at 9.

It's not easy to project which college quarterbacks will find success in the league.  It seems that mortgaging the farm to trade up for a QB hasn't been a fruitful investment for a lot of teams.

Oh lord prior to the draft I'd say it was 60/40, here who wanted Stroud/Young thr consensus was anyone but Levis how the tables turn.... 

 

Or at the worst we would have an upcoming top 10 pick in a WR strong draft class....

 

Also kinda funny how many get saying CMC was injury prone and lost a step....

CMC- 226 carries 1,177 yards rushing at 5.2 YPA, (higher than bryceys ypa passing) 12TDs 52 catches 437 yards and 5 tds.... leads the NFL In rushing by almost 300 yards... 

DJ Moore 76 catches 1,071 yards 7 tds and 4 rush 71 yards and a TD

 

24 TDs and 2650 yards by guys we shipped out for Brucey Young.....

Tommy DeVito is improving weekly and the other QBs are showing signs of life. Man, this isn’t good. Part of me still believes Tepper is trying to go full Rachel Phelps from Major League here.
