It's fairly pointless arguing with Bryce haters too... Cause y'all constantly have a reason to blame everything on Bryce...

And for the record, some of us arent necessarily trying to make the case that we are Bryce Young fans, but more so the fact that we have more realistic expectations then some the Bryce haters who thinks this is Madden and he is automatically going to an all-pro in year 1 but yet, continues to use the same bull excuse, " Well CJ is playing better" crap.

If it was any other rookie QB, and they were struggling, I would still give them more than a year to show promise.

It’s not that everything is Bryce’s fault.  I don’t think many people are making that claim.  It’s that he hasn’t shown any potential of being a good QB in the league.  Yes, the team is garbage.  He could use better receivers and a better offensive line.  But every single play is not some unwinnable situation where he can’t do anything.

Bryce flashes moments of NFL competence.  They are not franchise QB type flashes.  Yes he has made some good throws.  But you would be hard pressed to find other QBs in the NFL that cannot do that.  We have had some real garbage level QB play the last few years and almost all of them have had their moments.

I cant understand the Bryce defenders.  He hasnt been a lifelong panther that should have alot of fan sentiment like Cam.  He was a First overall pick that was a reach and appears to be a massive miss.  Unless someone is a huge alabama fan there is no reason to look at him with so much loyalty.  Your point about our past garbage qbs making plays is dead on the money basically any qb starter or backup in the nfl could have played and showed as much as Bryce has this season.

I'm not going to argue was pretty much a shite game from Bryce, you don't invest what you did in him and move off after a single season.  I know many of y'all are ready to draft ANYONE at 33, and I can't blame you for your frustrations.

The reality is that many rookie QBs struggle.  We were sold that Bryce was ready to be a great QB from the jump.  It hasn't happened, and we're bitter.  But we also sold the entire farm for Bryce.  You can't change that.  Before we determine if Bryce is a success or not, we need a GM, coach, and VP of Football ops.

Maybe things will be different next season, maybe they won't.  But we won't be drafting Bryce's replacement at 33.  First round rookie QBs tend to have a long leash before they get yanked.  We are in the Bryce Young experience for a good while longer.

    • Was at the game and NYCFC honestly outplayed CLT the whole way.  Khalina and Zaha carried the team.  Zaha's wife on IG making it sound like he's gone come July. They're going to have to pay him or find a big time replacement because the team looks like pretty lost without him.
    • No one's saying LaMelo has no blame we're responding to you acting like he's the reason they lost. The scapegoating and blaming the teams woes on his personality is where it's like Cam Newton all over again. It was a failure on multiple fronts and primarily Lee's. Dude said ON AIR pregame that they had to protect the paint and if that was his gameplan going in he couldn't have botched it more. As the commentators said Ball's a rhythm guy and Orlando was preventing him for getting any kind of flow going. I'm a normie watching on TV and said they needed to bait them into fouling to combat that. They didn't even try until the 2nd half when it was too late. I think it's fair to expect the star to overcome whatever but LaMelo was not the problem in that game and he's not what is holding the team back. He's the only reason they're flirting with being a great team. I kinda put the center play on Lee too. Moose is great until he's up against a big who can body him. We've always known that and that's what Kalkbrenner is for. I don't know if it would have changed much but Kalkbrenner should have had more minutes than him.  And moving forward with the center position, I just think it's the time to trade Diabate while his stock's high and that's not an indictment of his game. He's like an evolved combination of Biyombo and PJ. He's a great rim protector and the strength issue is just what you're going to have to deal with if you want that. But Kalkbrenner is perfectly capable of protecting the rim and we gotta get away from the undersized centers or it'll always be a problem for us.
    • Honestly its why that Jalen Coker grab was a big deal.  I'd been warming up to the idea of a sadiq pick and was adamantly against a receiver...but this altered my train of thought.  I mean For instance, Cade Otton signed for 3 yr 30 mil contract...thats not dramatically different than the rookie payscale for #19 (4 year 20 mil with 5th year option), however you KNOW otton is decent...no clue if Sadiq will be anything.
