He's getting what he deserves. If I was an owner I wouldn't pay him either. You have to do something before you expect to be paid. Being an OC is not enough. Hell, lots of OCs have been HCs and flopped. Look at Josh McDaniels. Johnson seems more concerned about the money which to me is a red flag.

And then to tell someone while they are flying to you? Nah, dude.

To be fair, an awful lot of NFL paydays are based more on what you're expected to do than what you've done.

It was a shitty situation for sure, but there is enough blame and accountability that they all gotta hold.

      I think in all honestly, the final 2 games are carrying most of the weight in a lot of Bryce talk IMO.    During the window where he "blew it out of the water" window......were a lot of games where he was not above average.  AZ is largely one of those stat sheet games.   Where the stat sheet reflects QB play that didn't exist in the game.  That game was all Chuba.  Meh vs Dallas.  Meh vs Philly.  Meh vs Giants.  Probably average vs Tampa, Den, Saints.  Bryce made HUGE strides vs what he was.  We should be happy.   But when you start comparing him to the rest of the league.....people I think are going too far.  His best aspect in reality.....is his scrambling.  And that's probably not a great thing give his size.

      Mays and Zavala looked lost in the Reich offense.  Granted Zalava was probably playing too soon due to injuries but he looked terrible.  This new staff seems to be doing well with our OL.  I also wonder if having two vets in Hunt and Lewis just made life that much easier on whoever was/is playing center.
