Mix this with ESPN’s golden boy calling Jason Whitlock a fat bastard, a piece of poo, and a devil, and it really shows how ESPN has turned into TMZ with less talent or facts. The whole network is an absolute joke.

I miss Stuart Scott.

Whitlock got bodied. Career over.

So not reading through this whole thread and hadn't heard this before, but this just doesn't even make sense to me.

How can they brag about having award winning talent when the only "evidence" of them winning the award is the fake physical award they gave to the people?

These awards are listed online somewhere, it wouldn't be hard for anyone, including the on air talent who they gave the trophies to, to look it up and see they didn't actually win.

Or am I missing something obvious?

I think Whitlock thrives on controversy every bit as much as Stephen A. does. No one in his orbit gives a poo about what SAS says any more than anyone in SAS orbit cares about Whitlock. Much ado about nothing IMO but it’s crazy to me how much Whitlock gets under SAS skin. SAS career is light years beyond Whitlock so why he even gives him the time of day let alone say how much he hates him and will never forgive him is wild to me. I’m sure there is obviously a lot more to it but it’s an oddity for sure.

    • And again, the TLDR of the above is........ My expectations for T-Mac's rookie season have nothing to do with him and more because of my expectations for the rest of the WR room. I think his 2nd season when we then lose Thielen and replace him by just shifting everyone else up a spot in the pecking order and replace him with an end of the bench guy, is when he explodes for a huge yardage season. XL and Coker wouldn't make a good 1/2 combo with Thielen in the slot.  But T-Mac as the 1 with Thielen in the slot has the real potential to make XL/Coker an actual elite 2/4 combo.  Drafting T-Mac drastically changes the potential impact of those two, if anything, that's the biggest thing taking him did to the offense. Because honestly, how many teams have a 3rd and 4th receiving option as good as XL and Coker?
    • good one though it’s really no joke. I know a few friends and family members that suffer with this condition.
    • There's nothing normal about a 73 year old dating a 24 year old and a wildly successful NFL coach going to the college level in his twilight years is unprecedented. Yeah, raving success or absolute clown show. We'll see how it plays out on the field but this is why I was always very apprehensive about going after Belichick. The odds of it going the clown show route seem to be increasing by the day.
