No one is trading a proven top 1 or 2 WR for a rookie. Doesn't mean the rookie still isn't a generational prospect.

You would if he was generational. You'd definitely trade a guy about to bust your cap space for a generational prospect on a rookie contract.

I honestly miss guys who would just refuse to talk to the media. Lynch was the last I can remember but I think Payton's oline wouldn't either back in the day in Indy.

Given his pedigree I am guessing this is a strategy he is playing, whatever it really is. When I read about what Williams is doing that sounds like a big mess and a hard pass, this isn't that. I bet he turns down visits too. Must be nice to be able to work that system.

Sounds like a number of folks have them neck and neck.

It's a helluva WR class. Honestly on paper it's probably the best WR class I can recall since the legendary 1996 WR draft class. Not saying this class will produce multiple HOFers like that one but it's stacked both wil elite talent at the top of the board and good depth throughout. If you need WR help at all you're really doing your team a disservice not to come out of this draft with one.

"Oh, hi Dan!  Didn't see you come in!  We were just discussing some of the roster problems the Panthers have."

Dan Morgan: “Ok Marvin, now hit this bong while I record you saying the earth is flat and 9/11 was an inside job, we’ve got to get you down about 29 more picks.”

they had some CB the other day telling folks he was a flat Earther and didn't think anything existed and space wasn't real.   Dude needs better people around him.  Like, listen guy, even if you believe that stuff just lie or I'll give you a line of how to not actually say anything.   Dude was going into detail about fake planets.  Teams thinking you are batpoo crazy ain't going to help you in the draft.

    • Just going off the draft sims and he's always sitting around 20 lol. First year in a while where we haven't been thinking about the draft already in late October so haven't really looked into the top 15-20 picks yet. Also the qb class is super weak so he probably will sneak up into 10-15
    • I fully expect them to pick up his 5th year , and they're waiting for him to put a full excellent consistent season of QB play in year 4 or 5. If that don't happen,  they'll eventually cut ties.  Here's to hoping he just goes on a team in 2026. The worst thing he could do is continue to see-saw us to around .500 records because it might be impossible to replace him at that point unless youre willing to do the veteran qb carousel poo we did from 2019 to 2023.
    • What do you think of Bryce Youngs career thus far? Are you excited about his progress or is it not enough for you? I included a poll of ranking his performance through 3 years thus far.  I personally think he's made some decent progress. Has had some high moments (last half of 2024, Rams game, ATL game in 2025)  but in my mind, those are still outweighed by the many more lowlights thus far (ex turnovers, missed throws, poor decisions)  It's a very mixed bag for me. He's done enough to get a 5th year option but by no means should we lock him in with a 50+ mil a year multi year deal. I want to see him play consistently well for a full year before that happens (yes, I'm still saying that going into year 4. That might be telling).  Just sucks when you see CJ Stroud, Jayden Daniel's, Caleb Williams almost immediately lighting poo up with their arm talent. Maybe Bryce is just an ultra slow burn. I don't know what to think anymore. Guess we're gonna be stuck with him for a whilr unless we end up being bad enough to earn a high pick next year. I doubted it lol. Overall Stats for his career:       ● 14 W - 30L (regular season)       ● 0-1 playoffs record        ● 61.4% completion, 8291 passing yards, 49 TDs, 30 INTs  Year 1:       ● 2 wins, 14 losses      ● 60% completion rate, 2877 passing yards, 11 TD to 10 INTs, 5.5 yards per attempted pass Year 2:        ● 4 wins , 8 losses        ● 60.9% completion rate,  2403 passing yards, 15 TD, 9 INTs,  6.3 yards per attempted pass  Year 3:        ● 8 Wins, 8 Losses         ● 63.6% competition rate, 3011 passing yards, 23 TDs to 11 INTs  Playoffs         ● 1 game in year 3 ( 0 - 1 in playoffs)         ● 21/40 (52.5% completion rate), 264 passing yards, 1 TD, 1 INT.
