Who is your day 3 Qb?

If you want to be technical Kirk Cousins who was a day 3 pick after Washington took RG3 in the first round. Although I don't get your whole spending years on the bench thing and why that matters. Most day 3 picks are gambles and we need another qb at very least for practice squad/scout team

This. Even a solid backup QB is still a very good late round pick.

Yes.

Joe Milton seems like an interesting project/potential TE/gadget guy. Jordan Travis as a solid backup guy that might have more upside than he's getting credit for, maybe a Brissett type

Why would he have to spend years on the bench?

Because he would be a ‘development’ QB.

He would sit until properly ‘developed’

Bad topic, who cares.

I care. A day three QB is a good idea to not lose much in the gamble and have a small chance of finding a diamond in the rough. It's worth trying especially with a late pick. How is this post such a "bad topic"?

As a UDFA give me Sam Hartman to be our more attractive version of Gardner Minshew. Guy was super productive in collage and the boost in ticket sales from lady panther fans would be good for our non-existent home field advantage.

What about Spencer Rattler? There is some potential there with him being in a bad team last year with zero protection.

If he was available day 3, he would be a good pick. He has all the tools needed to succeed if he can put it all together. And that’s the ideal recipe for a day 3 QB. Low risk, high reward.
