This organization is a joke

but seriously, freaking out because the texans just traded for some grumpy WR that his old team was just tired of dealing with and just wanted to be rid of despite him being really talented?

oye...life might be easier for some fans if they just jumped to another bandwagon.

While most are hoping to strike gold in the 2nd (which we did one time 25 years ago) houston now went from the worst in the league to the best. It all starts with tepper. They made a move happen and we still trotting out practice squad for Bryce, who wasnt the right pick. Chicago will be poised. Most teams in our position end up better, but not this franchise. What a joke.

Honestly the better trade was for Diontae Johnson.

I don't know if it was better but it was way more frugal and cost effective.

Especially considering, you know, we don't have a 2025 2nd round pick... So it's not like we could have made the trade anyway.

I love the off-season. Every acts all big and bad and thinks we're going to win. It's like they forgot the team we just were last season. Sure we've added players, but we're still the same old Panthers. But every off-season ... every one. We get these high hopes. I love it.

I think people are just wanting improvement from 2-15.  I don't think anyone thinks we are playoff contenders.

    • And you know this how? Stay in your lane, junior. I'm pretty sure I'm a lot older than you, am a whole lot more experienced with life, and have watched football in earnest probably longer than you've been alive. I agree, but I was talking directly about injuries. As far as the economics, I'm assuming that Moton would have to take a pay cut and would probably be compelled to if he wants to stay in Charlotte. He seems like a thoughtful and practical guy. He knows that he's getting older and realizes the nature of the business. Hell, last time there were were questions on whether he would be here the last season. Dan and Brandt were dialing up the pressure. I don't think they're going to go into any type of contractual extension discussions without having a backup plan--i.e., a person that will appear to be Moton's replacement. And, to be honest, that person may be Moton's replacement depending how things go. But, I get the impression that Moton wants to be in Charlotte (unless he's developed some undying desire to chase a championship somewhere else).
    • It would be pretty fun with something like this. 3 on 3 the first 5 minutes, 2 on 2 the next 5 minutes (after a stoppage), then 1 on 1 (after a stoppage) the rest of the way. I just feel like this would be equal parts entertaining and chaos to watch
    • I'm more surprised our odds to win the division didn't really improve that much after free agency (like +380 -> + 320). I threw a few hundred on us to win the division again at +425 back in February, just because I figured Atlanta and Tampa would get worse. After our free agency, I am still surprised Tampa is the favorite to win the division.
