All this really means nothing if you really acknowledge the truth of it. If he's saying that Legette is going to flop, then whoop-de-doo. Join all the other fans with opinions. If he's saying that it's not going to go over with the fans, well not everyone will be happy anyway.

It's hardly analysis to label receivers or situations as the same without looking at specifics and details as to why things are the way they are.

Furthermore, time reveals all things. It's like I keep having to post the same things that should easily make sense.

When you watch some of their YouTube highlights, these WR are running free and wide open. Coverage is so soft in college, they are going to meet tougher competition in the NFL that will shut them down. Guys who are good route runners and can create separation can win in the NFL. Guys who are fast and need to be schemed wide open will struggle more.

Im pretty excited about a good few WRs in this class. I have to say Franklin isn't one of those guys I'm stoked about.

If their greatest contribution is speed, I'm not the greatest fan. They have to either be a good route guy and create separation or be someone who can muscle the ball away from anyone. If they don't do either of those things we'll, I'm not a huge fan.

speed plus the ability to catch is deadly in the nfl

tyrek hill isnt a great route runner. He doesn't have to be

We had a different QB. Guys like ginn are good for gunslingers. That ain't exactly Young.

Get the WRs that will help Bryce rather than the type WRs you prefer.

Very true, I don't think many understand that.

I dont prefer anything  honestly …but you have to make defenses think that once in a blue moon young MIGHT be able to stretch the field

that inability of his is why i never wanted him to be drafted

We've got who we've got and we're stuck with it for a while.

We can't draft based on the QB we wish we had. Focus has to be on who's best to help Bryce succeed. Doesn't matter if people don't want him. He's here. Now let's just try to make it work with him here.

    • Give me Anthony Hill Jr or give me death
    • We need a Sam Off Ball Backer to pair with Lloyd. Lloyd is a strong Interior Will especially in Pass Coverage- but that is also Trevin Wallace’s archetype. Need a Rozeboom style run stopper. Rodriguez and Allen fit that
    • There aren’t that many ways to screw Day 2 up.  That’d be them making an obvious reach, or selecting at one of the few positions that we are pretty solid at. Because as excited as we are for the growth and improvement this team is showing, it’s still not an overly talented or deep roster. Honestly, there aren’t really many positions I’d feel bad about. Feelings about Bryce aside (because we are not going to select a QB), it’s really RB (bad positional value) and that’s it. I guess OT too since we grabbed Freeling in Round 1.    While not as high on my wish list as other spots, you can justify WR or TE.     Interior offensive lineman who would likely take over an interior spot either this year (at center) or guard (next for cap casualty of Hunt or Lewis)? Fine by me.   Dlineman? Yes, that’s a highly rotational position and we have zero quality depth.    ILB? Yep, could stand for an upgrade over Wallace.    EDGE? Absolutely wouldn’t hate another option to spell Phillips, Scourton, and Princely.    FS?  Would love to add better coverage skill set to the backend of the defense. Moehrig and Ransom are great in run support but not as good deep. Adding a more traditional FS would allow us to mix and match/run some 3 safety sub packages and or a big nickel type look with a SS down near the line for better run support in possible pass downs.    CB? Could stand to get better at nickel.
