I've seen Clemson guys fan say avoid him, I disagreed.....

I’m a Clemson fan.  That D has pretty consistently lived and died by the play of the front for a decade +……Clemson just doesn’t produce good DB play IMO.  They produce defensive front talent.  Wiggins is more athletically impressive than impressive as a DB IMO.
