lots of great options at 39. we can double dip with ladd, AD, and franklin all still available. we can go LB or CB, or go IOL. someone really good will be there.

It just depends if he pans out or not. Having the 5th year option for a receiver is just smart. If the Panthers wanted a center, safety, or linebacker they would have stayed put.
