With that pick, why the hell did Bills trade out of the 1st and give up the 5th year option?  They didn't even really get anything out of that trade.

you move down one pick, slide up a bit later in the draft and still get the guy you like.

Peter schrager has reported there was a big competition to move up into the late first. Panthers moved up to secure their target versus other teams, bills improve their draft position.
