For Bryce Young and Dave Canales, the emphasis is on details

Well I was figuring his footwork and the little ease on back thing he has going, and that tippy toe hopping, are just too far afield of anything good that that just is what it is.

It is next to impossible to change that stuff at this level. Tiger Woods broke his stuff down... never the same. It is not easy.

Then I considered that maybe he has not done enough under center work to have that bad form drilled in and could possibly be taught correctly in that discipline.

I still cannot believe what I witnessed last season. Nothing about that staff turned out to be Allstars. For a group that claimed to be all in on a qb they did absolutely nothing to help him be a better qb or win games. That offense was horrendous.

It's easy to find scapegoats. We thought Matt Rhule was the worst we could be as of recently. Turns out that was wrong.

We're certainly going to get to see how much of last seasons debacle was on the staff. I can say I will absolutely be looking to see what areas remain an issue.

How did he perform so well in college with these crazy wild mechanics. He's so far off I'm confused how he dominated at Bama. It shows the gap of talented players between college to the pros and it's not to be underestimated.

there's the "king" and most feared RB in the league.

It's different when you're Tiger. He got to be the best pro with weird mechanics. Bryce got to be a really good college QB with his. Not the same.

Bryce has the work ethic, I think, to learn correct form. Especially if the coaches are blunt with him and drill him on it every single day. If they can have him consistent in his mechanics every snap by preseason, the rest is easy. If not...Bryce isn't gonna be here long as the starting QB.

Furyk is weird. That’s a loop.  A hitch. That’s not Young as a QB.

I was raised in golf land.. the family business. Tiger was pretty classic. I’m not sure what the exact discrepancy in his swing was, pre and post intervention. I remember names of the top echelon coaches involved (Haney, Harmon).

    • Btw... only Mitch fugging Marner has a better +/- than Key 🔑!!! And, Mitchy needed 5 more games and almost 100 more shifts to get there.
    • I was honestly flabbergasted to see Rod send out Stanky and the boys to to matchup against their top line to start the game. The reason that line has been so effective is because they've been matched mostly against 2nd and 3rd lines all year. You've got last change. Use it to your advantage.
    • Nobody played well on defense last night. But, the vitriol towards Chatfield (and to a lesser extent, K'andre) is bigly misplaced. People (not just you) just refuse to accept how bad Slavin has been this season. And, I get it. Canes fans (and informed analysts) have spent nearly a decade trying to explain to casuals just how good Jaccccob is at hockey. 4Nations happened and the hockey watching public started to listen. National media even started floating the idea of creating a new award in his honor. Then this season, he gets hurt. It happens. NBD. But, when he finally came back, it wasn't the same. He'll get back to his old self in no time. Probably just some rust, it'll be fine. Only, it wasnt rust, and he's not fine. He's bad right now. It wasnt just last night. Although, that was absolutely the worst game of his NHL career. Slavin (-4) currently has the 3rd worst +/- of anyone left in the playoffs. We've  been begging the world to recognize Jaccob Slavin's greatness. And, by the time we finally got people to listen, he shits the bed! I blame Kash!
